Lime in a Coconut WCM

My friend brought me a seasonal latte while I wait at Urgent care, and holy crap it's delicious!! Didn't get to see the inside, but holy yummy! She says very cozy and cute on the inside, giving library with coffee vibes. Would recommend.

Baked goods are delicious. We visited twice during our visit to Seattle. Coffee menu is on par, way better than S***B***S. You can taste the love in each cup. Cool vibe, sit inside or out. Owners go above and beyond to meet your needs. 5STARS all day and then some.

A Muddy Cup is a great coffee shop right in my neighborhood and it's one of my favorite places with its good coffee, nice decor and ambience and nails the feeling of a localized coffee shop. Too many coffee shops now, even independent ones may look the look, but When I walk in here, I see people talking and sipping. At others, it's just a bunch of people on their laptops. My in recent visits it's a nice lady behind the counter making drinks and she greets everyone and is friendly with the regulars. The shop is small but there is a fair amount of seating as well as some outside, some with a bit of cover incase its raining. I also like how they're often open on Holidays. I went on Memorial Day and again this passed Labor Day and was able to get a morning brew. The coffee is not over the top, but it's solid and there is plenty of options and flavors which should please any coffee drinker coming in for a muddy cup.

Love this cafe. It's so cozy and is brimming with personality. I had a lemon poppyseed offering that was divine. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. I always feel right at home here. It's a great place to work alone or meet with friends.

My dogs hanging out on the patio

We had a lovely experience here! I enjoyed the pumpkin cookie latte I had quite a bit and it was super reasonably priced. The barista was very friendly and helpful and gave me some treats for my dogs. We hung out on the patio, which was very cute and cozy. I loved that they're dog friendly and that they have a variety of seasonal drinks too. They also kindly refilled my water cup many times, and it seems like they're really an important part of the neighborhood with the friendly locals stopping by. The barista knew many folks by name and chatted a bit with them and many of them were very kind and came to give my dogs a few pets. Very much kind and communal spot for humans and dogs, with tasty drinks!

A quirky little coffee shop tucked away in the heart of Wallingford -- the decor and ambiance are really unique and the whole shop feels very homey. As evidenced by their sign, prepare to see lots of frog-themed memorabilia. The baristas were really friendly and the hot chocolate was yummy. I enjoyed it out on the back patio. It's a nice spot to bring a book or laptop to, would come back!

Hands down the best coffee I've had in the city, and I've had coffee almost everywhere BUT here until I moved into the neighborhood. Now I'm addicted and am in love with the ambiance of this cafe! Beautiful steamed milk, deliciously in-house roasted coffee fresh every week, friendly banter, great quiet workspace or meet up with friends and the fur baby. You can bring your own mug/reusable cup also, and their baked goods selection is also top notch! I can't wait to use the outside area when the sunshine comes back out. My new spot!

Spearmint Tea

This cafe has an adorable and homey atmosphere. It is quite warm inside and I had a cozy study session. If you have any cups that you no longer use, you can donate to those in need (and vice versa) through the cafe. The barista was very kind and provided hot water refills for my spearmint tea. I am thankful that she remembered that I had ordered it with a splash of coconut milk and offered a splash for every refill! I look forward to visiting again:)

Ask the Community - A Muddy Cup

Went at 2pm today (Sunday) even though it says both on yelp and on their doors open till 3pm? Do they actually close at 2? There was no "sorry had to leave" sign either cos I understand that happens sometimes.

It seems they can close as early as 2 yet sometimes stay open till 3. While Yelp lists a closing time of 3 pm, Google Maps lists 2:30 pm. Officially, the homemade signs affixed to the doors indicate (in true Seattle fashion) "Weekdays 7 am-3ish" and… Read more

But honestly? The energy worked. The staff was moving with that calm, unbothered flow only seasoned baristas have. Friendly, attentive, and somehow keeping the line moving without making anyone feel rushed. Respect. Light was flooding every corner; that soft Seattle glow that makes you want to pull out your journal and pretend you live inside a cozy indie film. Ventilation was perfect. Temperature was perfect. Seating options? Abundant. And not the awkward wobbly kind either. This spot is built for lingering. I grabbed a latte, sat down, and immediately fell into an art journaling trance. There's something about being surrounded by curated shelves of books and cute little treasures that just unlocks your brain. It's the kind of place where you look up after ten minutes and somehow an hour passed. This was my first visit, but it's already on my list of "places I'll actually come back to and get work done." A rare category, honestly. If you're looking for a café that feels like a creative reset button; this is a great one.

I looked up their yelp page as well as their Instagram and knew I had to come just to get one of their lattes with their amazing foam art! They have a variety of waffles and sandwiches on the menu that seemed appetizing however because I got here after 3:30 the kitchen was closed but they have a variety of pre-made burritos and sandwiches that you could still buy. I love that they have a huge variety of non-dairy milks including soy which is my favorite. I wanted to get the turmeric latte however I mentioned that I couldn't wait to see the foam art and the Baristas told me that due to the light color of the latte, it would be difficult to see the foam art so I instead ordered the red velvet latte with soy and it was as delicious as it was cute! I also got the egg and sausage cheese burrito and it was chock full of eggs and sausage... very filling. The decor and seating options are plentiful upstairs and downstairs. They also have free pineapple infused water for guests to drink which I appreciate. Seems like a popular spot for UW students to do work as there are lots of outlets for their laptops.

I was surprised that the cake was so cheap around $4 but after the first bite, it tasted like it was from a Safeway bakery, which made me feel a bit scammed. The latte was a very light roast, so the coffee flavor was barely noticeable and it felt more like drinking hot milk. On the positive side, the servers were sweet and friendly. It took about 5-7 minutes to get our drinks, and the place was packed around 1:30 pm on a Saturday.
