The pet sitter who was assigned was Kim. She spent plenty of time with the cats and made sure they were well cared for while I was away. The visit reports they leave are really cute as well. Could not have gone smoother! I'd also like to add that they were available with very short notice (3 other pet sitting companies were unable to handle our request). Also want to add that Stewart (when he came for the home visit) was wearing a mask and gloves to protect against COVID (a welcome sight). Pet owners would should have their minds at ease if they select Love Those Paws. If I go on vacation again (few and far between these days) I would definitely use them again!

The sitters vary but all are enthusiastic based on the reports they leave. After every visit the sitter leaves a note of when they came and left and what they did. They also usually text us an update and a picture of our birds. We come back to a stack of reports. The sitter stays a while after the food, water, and paper are changed to make sure the birds aren't acting weird, and I hear that some singing goes on. We've never had a problem and have be accommodated at very short notice when we want to go away for the weekend. I highly recommend this company. 1/27/20 Update: Just used them again during a ten day trip to Hawaii. I'm pretty sure our birds are in love with Alex, who came for most oF the visits. Now they are just stuck with us. As always, a great experience and we love being able to travel without any worries.

My initial call was returned quickly, and Joelyne was friendly, professional, and enthusiastic about meeting my dog. She was timely in sending the onboarding paperwork, and completing the set-up was easy. She set up a Zoom call (since my request for service was only 2 days away), and "met" me and my dog virtually. It was perfect. Every day while I was away, one of Prance Around's team members showed up during my specified window and walked my dog for 45 minutes. I received a custom walk report via email every day following the walk, and it usually included pictures. I LOVE that feature! While on vacation, a family member became critically ill and required hospitalization immediately upon our return to the US. I was able to email Prance Around and extend service for an additional week without any problems. Our service commitment ended, and only a few short days later, my family member was back in the hospital. With only a day's notice, I was able to contact Prance Around and get my dog back on their schedule. No hassles. No problems. Joelyne and her crew are incredibly kind, generous, and empathetic. It has been such a relief to know that I can call on them to take care of my girl and not have any worries. I would, without hesitation, absolutely recommend Prance Around Pet Services, and I will continue to use them as our needs arise. I used to be very anxious about leaving my house for extended trips but they bring in my mail and check around the house for any 'gifts' my guy has left behind. One experience comes to mind as a huge help. I was on a plane coming back from London and my kitchen ceiling started to flood. They found a bucket in the house and put it under the drips, called me, and sent a video to my phone. When I landed I was able to schedule a plumber right away to meet me at the house. By having the bucket in place they prevented untold damage to the kitchen and basement. They've been easy to schedule and work with and respond quickly to e-mails. When I come home my little dude is always happy, well fed, and has plenty of water in his dish. If I wasn't moving far away, I'd definitely continue using their service. If you're looking for a pet sitting service, this is the one you should choose.

We use them on an as-needed basis, usually when we go out of town for holidays (cat-sitting) or when just one of us is gone (for dog walking). We have not used the overnight dog-sitting service, but I'm sure it's great. They are full-service -- administering meds, scooping the litterbox, checking the mail, watering plants...very helpful for the longer trips out of town. Even though it is a small business (and we are sometimes last-minute with our requests), we get responses quickly, and Jennifer has never not been able to take care of our animals (even when we had particularly difficult situations, like medical issues with the cats or a dog that could not handle strangers). Every interaction I've had with Jennifer has been pleasant and professional. She loves animals, animals love her, and she is infinitely patient and accommodating. I think they are fairly limited to the immediate Laurel area, though you can can check if you live outside of town.
