Nutty Mochachino, Rose Latte
Jillian B.

Saturdays are for walking around town with a bougie coffee. The interior is quaint, a few chairs but definitely seems like a place most people will take their coffee to go. They had a lot of yummy looking drinks - ours both were deliciously indulgent. In addition to the standard milk options, they even had pistachio milk! Next time, I'll order that instead of my standard oat.

Pumpkin Pie Iced Latte

The perfect fall sip can be found at A'MORE Chaffe! I can be picky with my pumpkin but this place made a pumpkin pie iced latte that really tasted like a pumpkin pie coffee! The caffe itself is super cute and the staff was more than helpful to this indecisive customer (me)!

Iced Einspanner

I tried the iced Einspanner and it wasn't too bad! I enjoyed the cream top but the coffee itself wasn't very strong. Not too sweet and not too strong to keep you wired. The cafe is pretty small and cozy, soft music playing in the background. There's seating but the cushions are a bit dirty/stained.

This place is a hidden gem! Only found it because it was close to a bakery I was going to. It's super small, but there are a few places to sit. The barista was really nice and she answered all of my questions about the drinks they had. I got the cinnamon french toast latte and it was amazing! This coffee definitely has a kick because I was very caffeinated. The latte was smooth and had tons of cinnamon. I'd definitely come back here to try the other drinks!

Iced Pinky Matcha (~$7)
Aya E.

Ordered: Iced Pinky Matcha (~$7): matcha, sweetened rose petal, with oat milk (+$1) Iced Rose Latte (~$7): double shot espresso, sweetened rose petal, with oat milk (+$1) Aya's take: As you can see from what we ordered, I love a good rose drink! The sweetened rose petal blend goes better with matcha than espresso making the Iced Pinky Matcha a more pleasant drink. It's just the right amount of sweetness, the matcha is good quality, and the rose gives it that nice floral taste. The Iced Rose Latte was decent but the rose flavor was masked by the espresso. Good try and cute drinks!

I wanted to check out some matcha places near my job and I stumbled across this place. It's pretty small but it's cute. I saw they had strawberry matcha, pink matcha and even honey matcha. The girls were very nice and helpful, informing me that they can add lavender syrup to my matcha if i wanted a lavender matcha. I chose the pink matcha and was disappointed. Although it was very pretty, it wasnt actually pink and the matcha was very potent and the pink didnt have a flavor. I was kind of disappointed to spend $9 on this but it's okay!

Small nice coffee shop. Limited seating . For food has croissants. Quick friendly service. Pricing fair.

It was indeed love at first sip. It was my first time visiting the cafe so of course I wanted to make the first drink impression great. The barista was really patient in explaining my drinks of interest and what she thought I'd like the most. I ended up getting the einspanner and it was absolutely delicious, better than any of the other einspanners I've had in the city. Really excited to come back and try their rotational seasonal drinks when they roll them out

I wanted to stop by this place since they have really fun specialty espresso and matcha drinks. The cafe itself is really small, but there's free wifi and a few tables / bar seats by the window. I love einspanners so I got the iced einspanner with oat milk. Iced drinks are 50 cents more expensive, and with the oat milk my drink ended up being close to $9, which was pricier than I expected. The einspanner was good - it wasn't really sweet at all, but I thought there could've been more cream on top and I've definitely had better einspanners before. But overall it's a cute spot with interesting drinks, so glad I stopped by.

I was a little skeptical when I saw pictures of the colorful coffee selections at @amorecaffe_nyc , but I was happy to be proven wrong. Their matcha latte (with espresso shot) was a really good balance of the flavors and not sweetened like many other places do. Other specialty coffee also look really delicious and I'd love to go back to try them. They also serve pastries from @biencuit for people who can't have coffee without a bite of a yummy pastry!

Cute little cafe serving unique, delicious drinks. Ordered the einspanner and peach iced tea. Both were very enjoyable. The einspanner was very creamy. The peach iced tea was refreshing and just sweet enough. Lots of cute, eye-catching illustrations of the menu displayed on the walls. Free wifi which is great for those who want to do some work while enjoying their coffee. The drinks truly taste just as beautiful as it looks. Will definitely come back again.

Very cute coffee shop with cool signature drinks The rose latte was pretty decent asked for light syrup and that was sweet enough already for my taste profile Ice drip cold brew tasted nothing special tho

Brown Sugar Freddy

A'more is a small cafe with a couple tables and a lot of drink options. I tried the Brown Sugar Freddo (5/5)! It was super good and mildly sweet. I'd love to come back and try some of their other unique drinks.

Ten Thousand Coffee - Iced Matcha Einspanner (~$7)

I've had Ten Thousand Coffee on my to-go list for the LONGEST. I finally went for the first time…read moreand there were so many drinks I wanted to try so I ended up buying 3. 1. The Jeju Green Tangerine Matcha honestly just tastes like a tangerine selter drink but in the best way, because I don't typically enjoy seltzer or carbonated beverages. I really enjoy the flavor and the carbonation isn't too strong, probably because I brought it home to drink. I don't really taste the matcha but I would definitely still order this again. 2. Matcha Einspanner. This is my first time having an Einspanner so I have no idea what I was expecting but this is DELICIOUS. It's so silky and smooth and the TASTE is just right up my alley. The matcha is light but you can still taste it. Absolutely, would drink this all the time if I could. 3. Purple Sweet Potato Latte. This. This. Omg, why haven't I tried this sooner?! The first sip and initial taste, I almost tasted nothing, just milk. And then all of a sudden, there's an explosion of flavor in your mouth. As a sweet potato lover, I was in heaven. I have absolutely no words for this drink, just try it. 100/10 recommend. This is probably my favorite one out of the 3 that I bought. I went around ... 2:45PM on a Friday and most of the seats were taken, if I remember correctly. There were a decent amount of seats and the space was decent. I liked the minimal aesthetic they had for the design of the interior. Not to forget, the staff at the register was absolutely wonderful, she answered all my questions, she's so sweet. I think I'm disappointed that I haven't tried this place sooner. Y'all get out of your comfort zone and try the Purple Sweet Potato Latte !! Or if not, just try this place out. I will definitely be recommending the Purple Sweet Potato Latte to all my family and friends.

Overall: 4.5/5 The…read morestore has a really aesthetic vibe, similar to % Arabica. I came in on a Wednesday morning and luckily there was no line. I ordered an iced matcha einspanner ($6.95) with oat milk ($0.75) and loved that it already comes with a shot of espresso, so it was essentially a dirty matcha einspanner. I tried each layer on its own before mixing everything together and it was all really good. The matcha cream is the right amount of sweet and creamy and you can taste the matcha with just a hint of coffee. Since I'm a coffee fiend I added a bit more espresso when I got back to the hotel and it tasted even better while still keeping the matcha as the dominant flavor. Next time I would ask for less ice since it was freezing that morning, but on a warmer day the ice level would be perfect. Would love to come back to try their other drinks or order the einspanner again as a hot drink.

RATING: 4.5/5 | Came on a Saturday late afternoon and it was busy! The line moves, thankfully. It's…read morerelatively spacious for a cafe, but there's minimal seating. There is some counter space, but mainly for standing purposes. I ordered a standard Iced Matcha Latte with Oat Milk ($7.35) and my friend got her usual Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte ($8). Docking 1/2 point bc the matcha is pre-made. I'm a fan of the whisking process bc I do believe there's a craft to matcha overall. Surprisingly, my drink tasted fine and my bev was a good color, so I was pleasantly happy. We waited less than 10 min for a table to open up, but you have to be there at the right time, otherwise you prob just grab your drink + go. Overall, glad I tried Kijitora. It's not my first matcha choice, but it was decent for a standard matcha latte. Their specialty matcha drinks look to have mixed reviews, but I'm personally not a fan of sweet drinks.

The tote bags were so cute but they were kind of pricey in my opinion. A standard beige Kijitora bag was priced for $30 each! They had several designs for sale. I was just busy checking out the cool cat merchandise while I was waiting in the long line to purchase the matcha drinks. The line was exceptionally long! It was worth the hype though! When I was my turn, I got an iced strawberry matcha latte and an iced mango matcha latte. It was so pretty when I got them. The mango and strawberry paste were sitting at the bottom of the matcha latte. I had to stir and mix the fruits with the whole drink. Surprisingly it was not sweet at all and was just right! They made it in a way that wanted you to crave more of it. It was very addicting. I did not get onigiris this time but will be sure to get some next time I'm here. They were just $4 each for miso salmon, tuna mayo, mentaiko cod roe, sukiyaki beef, and chashu pork. What a decent price for one onigiri! I would definitely be sure to get the miso salmon next time I'm here. The place was very cute with nice little tables for individuals. The place was very cozy with lots of sunlight coming in. Very modern with plants all around. It was so loud with people talking over each other. There were too many people on a Sunday afternoon so I had to walk around or cut through people to get my way. It was that crowded. I also didn't expect this place to be on the second floor and the stairs to be that steep. It was hectic carrying my stroller upstairs. Luckily someone helped me get down! The stairs are very narrow so I had to hold onto the rail. It was not ergonomically friendly at all.

I probably never leave reviews in general, especially negative ones, but this experience was so…read moreegregious that I honestly felt like I had to say something. I've worked in restaurants and bars long enough to understand that staff drinking happens, but this was on another level entirely. I came in with a group of friends and one of the bartenders, Will, was so visibly drunk that it made the entire experience uncomfortable. Slurred speech, wobbling behind the bar, taking orders while chewing food with his mouth open -- it was honestly embarrassing to watch. He looked like he absolutely did not want to be there. At one point, my group had been trying to get his attention for another round for quite a while while he stood around talking with coworkers. We then watched staff take a shot together, and when he finally came over he burped mid-conversation and literally had whatever he had just been drinking dribbling down his neckbeard. That was the moment where the whole thing went from unprofessional to just gross. What made it worse was that it didn't seem isolated to one employee. Throughout the night we watched staff openly taking shots and drinking behind the bar like it was a house party instead of a business. There's a difference between bar culture and complete lack of professionalism, and this crossed that line hard. One of the friends I was with actually frequents the DUMBO location and said that the last time she was there, the same bartender also seemed intoxicated, which makes this feel less like a bad night and more like an ongoing issue. The DUMBO location itself is in an amazing spot, which makes it even more disappointing. But ownership seriously needs to get control of what's going on there before someone gets hurt or the place develops a reputation for having drunk staff on the clock. Unfortunately, the experience was uncomfortable enough that my girlfriends and I won't be coming back. I genuinely hope the employee mentioned gets help if this is a regular thing, because nobody should be working service in that condition.
