Dr. Hiroshige is the dentist to go to in Gardena and the South Bay!!!!!! Parking is super convenient and he has all the latest technology. The XRay tech was super nice and made sure I was comfortable with my X Rays. They took both an XRay and a 3D photo of my bite. Luckily I had no cavities but i needed a very deep cleaning! Dr. Grace worked on my teeth for a good hour. She took her time and was plugging that tartar away from my teeth. Im so grateful for her and her expertise! After the cleaning Dr. Stephen explained my crowded teeth and the consequences if it was not fixed. I took the advice and am getting them corrected. Overall super happy I found a new dentist!

One said the procedure could not be done and recommended a root canl specialist, while the other explained that the treatment would be too complex and would require three separate visits. Dr. Stephen Hiroshige carefully evaluated my case and personally completed the root canal treatment. The entire procedure was virtually painless, and I felt completely at ease throughout. While the drive was long, it was absolutely worth it. Each dentist was worse than the one before. They were all unprofessional, talking down to me as a client, even saying racist comments like "you people" should take care of your teeth better. Now, here is when I experienced the most uncompassionate, unprofessional health personnel that I have ever met. Certainly, this person has no concept of how compassion is used to facilitate a sensitive and painful situation. This dentist did not want to wait for the Novocain to take effect. She was trying to rush the extraction which was very, very painful! I asked her to wait and she persisted and I had to block her attempt!!!! This is the only method that made her stop. I begged her to give another injection and wait to completely numb the site. She waited only another 8-10 minutes then resumed. It was still very painful and I could tell that she was rushing! She plopped the tooth out, dropped it on the table and left!!! Horrible attitude, no bedside manners ! Dr. Frankenstein from Pakistan. I will file a complaint with the American Dental Association. Dentistry is all about the money first in this place. There is a strong presence of racism and classism! Note: the assistants are good people and pretty well trained; however, they are afraid of their "superior" minded dentists! I wouldn't go here! Dr B has taken care of me and my smile since 2016. I have referred countless family and friends to his practice and we all love him. I was told it "should be covered by insurance" and that I'd only pay the difference, so I agreed to move forward. At checkout, I paid $350 and was told I'd be reimbursed after insurance was billed. Later, I found out my insurance didn't cover it at all. My concern wasn't that insurance denied the claim, it was that I was led to believe my coverage had been verified. Had I known I would likely be responsible for the full cost, I would have waited until I was financially ready. I asked if they could offer a discount given the misinformation, but after more than two months of trying to reach the manager, I was told there was nothing they could do because I had received the service. What disappointed me most was the lack of accountability and willingness to address my concerns. I ended up canceling my follow-up appointment and won't be returning. I would recommend confirming that your insurance has actually been verified before agreeing to any treatment that could leave you paying out of pocket.
