The pricing is fair, TRANSPARENT (no hidden fees or extra add on charges at all), and well worth every single dollar. I've only had excellent experiences with the teams that do the heavy lifting, and the office staff is great. I highly recommend this moving company. Total came to $421 in case competitors are curious. And that included the fee for distance and travel time for 30 minutes and TWO stops with the truck!!! And I am happy to report that they did a fabulous job today. The two guys who came to move my things arrived within the quoted timeframe window and worked so hard. They were also very personable which was a plus since people can be weird; these guys were NOT! They had some issues backing the truck into my narrow parking area but then again so would I, given that truck's size! The only disappointment was that they couldn't remove the TV mount from the wall which would probably have required a socket wrench, but they did get the TV off of the mount. I understood the liability so I'm going to have a friend help me with that later this week. Even my parents were surprised by the deal I got. So yes, I would recommend Best Price Movers and their yellow truck to anyone I know who wants to shop smart and save their backs.

They were very efficient and very fast but the woman I spoke with prior to the move ensured me there would be 4-5 wardrobe boxes for all of my hanging clothes, they only brought one. I had to make 3 more trips in my personal car to pick up the rest of my clothes which defeats the purpose of hiring movers. I messaged the woman back on Yelp about this and she left me on read with no offers of a solution for over a year. About a year later I decide to give them another chance and bring up the issue with the wardrobe boxes before. She offers a $50 discount and this time I arrange for 3 people to come and move me from a first floor apartment to a single story home. The most inefficient move I have ever experienced, they took longer to move than when I lived on the third floor and the guys had to wait for the elevator. They moved at a glacial pace and I ended up paying for 3 guys for the same amount of time as it took the first time I moved. On top of all of this they didn't wear gloves or wash their hands so my light furniture has black handprints on it from the moving dust on their hands. One of the guys dragged a piece of furniture and broke off a leg and I watched him use a piece of plastic to wedge the leg back in. Very unprofessional movers in my opinion, only one guy was taking his job seriously and trying to get me moved quickly the other two just lingered around waiting for him to move and package all my things. I didn't see a point in reaching out about the damage or the handprints as the customer service had already proved once your move is complete they could not care less about you. I'm happy I'm in a home I purchased so I never have to experience these movers again.

On the plus side, the two guys who came to my house, Ferdinand and Green, hustled from start to finish and it was over 5 hours total for loading, transport and unloading. On the down side, the sales process while smooth and very corporate, lacked some communication with their team on the ground. For example, the booking team specifically said to leave drawers in dressers. The movers were shocked as they would always prefer less weight. Would I use them again? Probably. But I would prefer an actual mover to do the estimate instead of someone over the phone sight unseen. Even a FaceTime or similar video app that would allow for a visual could go a long way towards aligning everyone's expectations.

Expert Handling: I was particularly worried about a very large, fragile item, but the crew handled it with absolute precision. It was placed in the final location with zero damage. Great Value: Their pricing was noticeably lower than the other quotes I received, making them a fantastic choice for anyone looking for high-quality service at a fair rate. Work Ethic: They didn't rush the process just to get out the door; they stayed until the very last box was placed and the job was completely finished. I truly felt they cared about my move being a success. Whether you are planning a large household move or just have a smaller job, I would definitely recommend All Purpose Moving. Well, I was wrong about these guys. First, I think Anthony the A in AC movers is a broker, so he just hires out other movers because the guy that showed up had a different name on his truck. Xavion??? Needless to say, I called a week before my move having scheduled several weeks before that concerned that 2 movers would not be enough. I was told to send pictures, and I did, along with a video of me walking through each room. However, when they showed up he (Xavion) freaked out and said if he had known he would have sent over 4 guys. That was the start of the "8itch" fest. And my quote of 2 hrs suddenly tripled. (it sucks when you're under a deadline and someone pulls this kind of crap because you just can't just cancel and go elsewhere. It was pretty obvious they were not experienced, they didn't wrap anything as "Anthony" promised and tossed a moving blanket (I supplied) on a couple of items. I had ropes to tie everything down and I had roped off the wall of boxes before they put in furniture, but then didn't bother to tell me when I could have secured the other items with rope and seemed upset I didn't have "straps". (I'm guessing they didn't know how to tie a proper knot). They had closed the door of the truck before I noticed and at the end just chucked stuff in. My fault for not checking but as in most moving situations I was a bit overwhelmed. They scratched furniture and laid things on their sides that were not supposed to be on their side. And the last straw was they walked off with one of MY dollys... When I confronted them, they said mine was on the truck. I had two there was only one on the truck and only saw that later on when I unpacked. So basically they are also thieves.... it might have been a cheap item, but it was still mine, and leaves me to wonder what else they stole. So keep your eye out for AC Transportation & Moving, LLC (Anthony) and his sidekick Xavion. Steer clear... in the end, after calling the police from my destination about the stolen dolly, they gave their "tip" money back. As I felt obligated to give them something.. never again. They are the reason movers get a bad name. (Sarasota Palmer Ranch long distance move)
