A Magic Touch Mobile Massage is aptly named. I spoke to the owner, Ddee, yesterday at 5:30 pm and she arranged for Miyoko to come to my home today at 3:30pm for a facial. I've had many facials in my life, but I must say that Miyoko was one of the best. She arrived on time and had everything with her that one would expect for an extraction facial. Hot towels, skin steamer, etc. The reason I am mentioning this is because I once had an in-home facial several years ago (from another company) and the esthetician did NOT have hot towels or a steam machine. This makes a huge difference in the quality and ease of pore extractions, and I'm so thrilled to have found a truly professional mobile esthetician expert in Miyoko. I can't rave enough about A Magic Touch ... and will most definitely be recommending them to everyone I know. 3 stars because Shannon and Eli were wonderful massage therapists. Everyone in our party felt so relaxed after their massages! Absolutely no complaints from these two ladies. However, long story short, the coordinator and administrative process was the most stressful thing I've ever had to go through. she didn't communicate with the nail lady to come at 2, making her wait in the sun for an hour, we felt bad and gave extra tip, but that should have been on ddee to communicate properly and should not have cost us extra. The nail tech was rightfully annoyed to have had to wait for an hour outside but it was very uncomfortable for us to be asked by her to give her a 35% tip for a very mediocre (borderline poor) service. read more

I paid for massage and facial services for my bachelorette trip. When the 60 minute massage therapist arrived, Chelsey Altho, she was extremely rude to our guests. There was no organization set up for which girl would go first and how they would be alternated, therefor I had to sit down and factor all of the times and rotations for them. She was rushing due to having another appointment even though she was there at 8:30 AM and our services didn't begin until 9 AM. She had three massages to perform, which were not satisfying per report. During the massages, she critiqued and ridiculed our pregnant guest for being on a bachelorette trip. Questioning her about if she was intoxicated etc on the trip which we found to be extremely inappropriate. At the end of her services, she approached the entire party outside and said "so no tip?" after everything she did. The 30 minute massage therapist, Shiho, and Kara, who performed our facials, did an amazing job. Everyone who participated with them had amazing things to say about each service. They were extremely personable, kind, and professional. After the services, the ladies stated they preferred to be tipped on Zelle. Due to this being a large party of girls, everyone sent their tips to one person so that one could send the Zelle. It took longer than anticipated due to it being a large group, having to travel home, etc. I was personally contacted multiple times by the owner, Ddee, asking me why the girls were not tipped and when they would be tipped. CONSTANTLY. To the point that I had to ask the manager to stop contacting me because I sent the tips, sent evidence that the tips were sent, and was still being harassed. The masseuse was good and the rest of information below did not effect the way we tipped. Management was not helpful or nice. We had originally booked for 6 massages and bumped it down to 5 later on. Our invoice still said we had 2 masseuses. Only one masseuse showed up. Ddee, the manager, is who we talked to on the phone and she was not helpful. Thankfully we did not have afternoon plans or the 2.5 hours it should've taken was now taking 4. Ddee was not willing to send an additional person, as per our invoice, or give any sort of discount. I booked massages and facials for a bachelorette party, which were good. Not amazing, but not horrible. The massage therapist and facials both started a little later than I had requested due to their set up. It was not a huge deal, but did make us rush to our dinner plans after it was complete. Where I really had concerns was with the administrative part of booking these services. I had requested appointments and had confirmed dates, but was told I needed to put a credit card down to hold. I asked for the owner to call me to take payment, rather than give my card over iMessage. No response, but I assumed our dates were booked and they would call for payment when they were not busy. 1 month later, I decided to follow up as I thought it was weird that no one had followed up and did not want to run into a situation that they did not show up. After trying to get ahold of her again, she proceeded to tell me that I was lucky I called because I "never" provided the credit card and she would never make a booking without one. I kindly reminded her that I actually indeed requested her to call to take down the card. She then proceeded to change the blame game to I missed her assistants call, although no call was ever received. She mentioned her assistant could have forgotten to call, but that scenario is unlikely (even though that was what occurred). She kept going on that I was lucky I called, although this was not my mistake. Additionally, I felt constantly questioned and as if I was pestering her to book these services on the call. She explained to me there was a non refundable policy, even for covid. I happily obliged, but she continued to question if I understood and kept re explaining the meaning of "non refundable" to me as if I was in competent to understand. She also asked me if I wanted to tip with her and I said I'd rather tip them directly. She questioned if I was going to tip or not. At this point, I was ready to just stop the booking and find someone else because it was as if I was an annoyance. Unsure if the services would actually arrive as my card was never charged for the full services, the services were completed. I thought they would ask me for the remainder payment since it was not billed, and that did not occur. The Monday morning after my services were completed, she attempted to charge my card. There was a fraud block by the bank. My phone immediately began blowing up with phone calls, emails, text messages, voice messages back to back to back. I had to leave my work meeting as I thought there was an emergency with my family. After reading/listening to the borderline condescending and undertones of accusatory nature (of me not trying to pay), I informed her the card was blocked, please try payment processing again. She did and never confirmed on her side if it went through. I had to text and follow up later, letting her know it went through just to ensure I wasn't going to be accused of not trying to pay. Customer service is important. The customer should not be treated as if they are a child or incompetent. While the services were okay, the lack of customer service would discourage me from working with this company again. read more

On short notice I decided to pull together a girls night, and treat my ladies to a massage :) I looked online and found A Magic Touch Mobile Massage and exchanged a few emails with the owner, Dee Dee, checked them out on Yelp (of course!) and made sure they used licensed therapists (they do!). With only 2 days notice, Dee Dee got us scheduled for massages to start at 6pm in my home. Mary, the therapist was incredible, she was a few minutes early to set up, her equipment and linens were clean and in good shape, she brought relaxing music, was incredibly pleasant and super professional. She changed out sheets and washed her hands between massages and was otherwise attentive to hygiene and etiquette. Mary also has a gift for what she does - my mom was a licensed massage therapist and I used to get massages regularly (ie, before having kids lol), and I know the difference between someone going through the motions and someone who is connected and paying attention. Mary was aware of how much pressure to use and if I became uncomfortable; she picked up on and asked about some sore spots in my arms and wrists because I have arthritis and I felt great when she was done. In fact, all the girls agreed that Mary was great. It was a real luxury to have a therapist come to me, if it hadn't been for a girls night in I wouldn't have thought to book a service like this and I'm so glad I did. I have had the immense pleasure of knowing DeeDee for a few years now when I was working in a hotel and she was scheduled for a massage with one of our resort guests. DeeDee is one if not the most reliable professional massage therapist I have ever come across...so much so, that I had decided to give her a try so that she would come to my home to give me a massage. She came to my house and set up a very comfy table with soft, clean sheets, ambient lighting in the room and soft music to help me relax. Right from the start my tension was melting away. THE MASSAGE: Oh my lord, let me tell you, IT WAS INCREDIBLE! I have had a few massages in my day and that ones I've had in the past never felt this good. She used a wonderful scented oil to begin my massage and she really knew the right spots to hit. We recently hired A Magic Touch Mobile to come out to a surprise "spa afternoon" for some well-deserving client. We treated (6) of them to 30 minute chair massages using (2) therapists. The office we had it in is super-secure so there was a bit involved in getting them scheduled and thru security. And, we planned the event last-minute and changed the time on them and they were still able to be flexible and find therapists that could do it!! And I'm so pleased - the ladies they sent were so sweet and the clients told us they were fantastic. Both therapists brought "spa music" and one of them even had aromatherapy. I would encourage them all to do this - as when the girls who had the therapist with aromatherapy talked about it with our group as they came back, the other girls that had the other therapist were disappointed their therapist did not. But, other than that - they were great. Would use them again and their pricing seemed very reasonable! read more

False Advertising! Disappointed because I wanted a corporate chair massage for my husband, as a surprise, at his off-site work location today; an event he's hosting. I expected same-day service, as the website says, "At your door within 2 hours" on the logo. It says 7 days per week, and lists my location. I called just before noon on a Sunday, they said they'd call back. I waited 50-55 minutes before receiving a call back, only to hear that they couldn't find a therapist in my area. The afternoon is lost, as I am now an hour behind, trying to find a alternative provider for this surprise. Disappointed in false advertising. read more
