I was traveling through the area and had an accident on I-85. When I pulled off to check on the damage, Tim from A LaGrange towing was actually at the truck stop and came over and asked if I was OK. He gave me his card and told me to call if I needed any help. Imagine my suprise when A Lagrange towing was sent out by my insurance to tow my van! Tim towed my van to their shop and I knew it would be safe and taken care of. When I called their office to find out how I could get some things out of the van, the ladies in the office were kind and professional. When I went to their shop EVERYONE went out of their way to help me and made sure I knew what to expect during the process. (I believe one sweet lady in the office is named Dana? She rocks!) My tire blew out on the side of 185, in a pretty difficult place to get to. Matthew was there in 20-30 minutes, and helped me find the right place and even made sure they had the right tire before dropping me off. My car broke down two weeks ago and I had to leave it in the middle of nowhere around midnight because AAA had already delayed service by three hours. A Lagrange Tow impounded my car and when they attempted to contact me, they didn't leave a message to let me know my car had been impounded. I had driven out to Lagrange to pick up the car because I assumed it was where I left it when it had broke down (off the side of the road).I didn't find my car, but I had found a piece of the front bumper. I then had to make a few calls to figure out where my car was. When I found out where it was, I was going to be charged $700+. I went with my mom a few days later. The impound/exhaust shop/detail center/collision repair lot looked sketchy immediately, with no place to park. My car was nowhere to be found and they would not let me see it/send pictures/let insurance see it. When I got in to a verbal altercation with an employee, he began charging at my mother and I. The entire company came out to back him up and the owner claimed he would press charges against ME for assault when I never touched anyone(neither did the employee because he was held back). The owner then blocked my number and told me to not contact him. Thankfully, we did not go back. Avoid this organization at all costs. They are 78 Youngs Mill Rd and 66 Youngs Mill Rd. Never under any circumstance use this company for towing. We used Roadside assistance to tow our car to the place where it would be repaired. The driver said they had chains up (The Repair shop said there was never any chains and the car could have been dropped up front). So He called us and said He had to tow it to our house instead and that was considered a second tow and charged us $175 that we didn't have. I was on the phone with the insurance and they were going to do a payout to him. He replied that the insurance company don't pay them as much as we would have to. So He took our money and left and didn't even leave us a receipt to try and get reimbursed. He was very rude and basically ripped us off. He should be totally ashamed. State farm will not use this company anymore for roadside assistance after this. The insurance company said that He was supposed to get in touch with them to let him know what He was doing and when he was done but He did not! So Be very careful! He was incredibly rude, hostile and condescending towards me in response to a mistake made by my insurance company. This was a very poor experience and I would strongly recommend looking for a different company. We had a blowout on one of the tires on our RV. This was a Friday night on a busy highway. We were at the side of the road and our vehicle was resting on the rim with damaged tire shreds all around.
