There's a lot of different art by different artists here, but Vinsantos' dolls caught my eye. Like something out of a Tim Burton fantasy and completely hand made, these dolls are molded with big eyes, beautiful colors, gorgeous clothes and reside in a handmade case for display. The dolls aren't cheap, but the detail that has clearly gone into them really is something to behold. If you aren't ready to commit to an actual doll, they have small prints of different dolls that are available for $20 each. Other art goes along with the "Halloween all year" type feel of the place. There are large portraits of Frankenstein, The Bride of Frankenstein, and Vampira among others. All of the art here is very different from other galleries and appeals to a certain type of person, namely the type of person who wishes to adorn their home with conversation pieces rather than the same old "picture on a wall".

But it's not just furniture. It's an art warehouse, much of it New Orleans-inspired so I often come here for gifts. I always know I can find something, whether wall art or a funky one of a kind lamp. Knobs for drawers and door handles (OK, probably not gifts). Candles. And cats (those aren't for sale). And the staff is always so helpful. On Friday the awesome gal working there helped us put our large cabinet on a dolly and to our car. I felt bad because it was a scorcher of a day and obviously it's a warehouse so no A/C in the main room. That's great customer service.
