At other boarding or daycare places, she's often come home smelling like urine, but at Camp Bow Wow she's always returned to me clean and well cared for, which I really appreciate. During her most recent stay, they accidentally forgot to give her a bath, but they took accountability right away, waived my late pickup fee, and rolled the bath over to her next visit. I appreciated how professionally and kindly they handled it. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and Chise gets genuinely excited to see them at drop-off. The trust and happiness she shows with the team tells me everything I need to know about how well she's treated there. Great job, Camp Bow Wow!

I was looking to board my dog at Camp Bow Wow and prior to boarding, they stated they needed to "…read moreinterview" my dog first which required staying in their care for 4-5 hours. They said I could watch her on cameras while she was there thinking that would be good. Over half of the time, the cameras were pixilated, down, blurry or the dogs were out of range of the camera. The next day, after being in their care, my dog got extremely sick. I had to take her to the vet which cost me $626. It's been over a week and my dog has still not made a full recovery. They tried to say it must have been from her previous vaccines; however, the two vet hospitals that I spoke with which included one I took her to, said there was no way, that too much time had lapsed and that she caught something from their facility. I reached out to them and asked for a call back from the manager, but they have yet to call me, they will only send an email. How absolutely impersonal. My dog gets super sick being in their care and they can't even have the decency or courtesy to return my call? All they did is said that I signed a contract stating if my dog gets sick and there is a vet bill that they are not responsible. I have requested a copy of this contract as I am usually pretty thorough with reading through contracts and I do not recall reading or signing what they emailed me. Beware! Ask for a copy of this contract PRIOR to signing anything or leaving your pet. It seems convenient that all of these terms magically appeared. Also, maybe check out their board inside their facility showing the many dogs that are on medication. I am sure the community drinking bowl didn't help if there was a sick animal to begin with. Also, I understand that it is a dog daycare, but I think it is the worst smelling one that I have been too. I would definitely NOT recommend this place to anyone who loves their pets! What an absolutely horrible experience!!!!!!! Let me add, I've read other reviews now that other dogs have got sick from their facility as well and had extensive vet bills. In my opinion, these people could care a less. It's absolutely sickening!

Our long-time dog sitter moved out of state and we found…read moreourselves in a bit of a panic to find a new sitter for our two dogs just a few weeks before our week long Christmas vacation. Our meet and greet with Jayce went great and fortunately for us she was available when we needed her (and willing to work on the holiday). We opted for two 30-min visits per day because one of our dogs requires morning and evening medications and Jayce always showed up within the time frames and followed all the instructions for feeding and medication schedules. She kept the water refilled and based on what we could see from our home security cameras, our two dogs seemed to really like her. She sent pictures/updated with every visit. Jayce was also observant of overall home well-being and notified me when there was evidence of someone besides her having been in the house (there was, as my father-in-law had come by to pick something up, and apparently he left the laundry room light on and the laundry room door open). Although we did not intend for it to be a test of her attentiveness, it was great to know that she was in fact paying attention to the home safety and alerting when there was a potential concern. She also took care of some other basic household tasks like pulling our garbage cans in off the street and picking up our mail. The prices are extremely reasonable and she was willing to work on Christmas Day. She even dressed up our pups and sent special Christmas greetings We look forward to booking with E.G. Barkers again in the future!

On a recommendation I called elk Grove Barkers. I spoke to the owner Jacey and we arranged a meet and greet to be held at my home. At my home visit, Jacey and I discussed dog walking, plant watering services daily mail pick up and in home sitting services offered. I was in luck as Jacey had an immediate opening and was able to fit Bella into her rather busy schedule. I filled out and signed a couple of forms, provided Bella's veterinarian information and additional emergency contact information. We went over the daily feeding times walking, plant watering and mail pick up schedule. I was extremely impressed at Jacey's attentiveness organization and use of technology. Jacey calendared everything on her personal device and when she met Bella I was relieved to see that they were such a great match. It was comforting to know that my dog would be safe in her own home and well taken care of by a professional dog lover. Overall the pre-appointment took about 30 to 40 minutes. I scheduled Jacey to come by two times each day in the morning and evening and as an added bonus I received daily updates from Jacey on pretty much everything for updates including mini videos as well as lots of pictures. I would recommend EG Barkers to anyone who needs to have their pet taken care of in a loving non-stressful and safe home environment Bella loves LOVES her dog walker, Miss Jaycee. With that said I would without any hesitation hire E. G. Barkers again in the future to take care of Bella. Especially for those days with late work meetings.

As a first-time puppy owner, I wasn't sure what to expect or if puppies just naturally outgrow certain behavioral issues. When we go out in public, people always come up to see her because she's cute, but what they *constantly* comment on is how exceptionally well-behaved she is for an 8-month-old puppy.
