We ended with Victor after reviewing more than 5 proposals to do the same work (full kitchen remodelling + baths), we decided to go with him because he claimed he was able to master a broad range of tasks: from plumbing to installing floors, build new walls, etc. We couldn't be more happy with the outcome. During this one month and a half, Victor performed the required demolitions in our house (taking care of the hauling as well), re-work all the electrical & plumbing (cap off several pipes, fix a a couple of wrongly installed hot water pipes, and route the new plumbing for our kitchen). He installed new electrical (both 120v and 240v for our new kitchen), and performed all the floor removal and floor installation in the kitchen. He removed completely the previous kitchen and assembly and installed the new one. He replace all the toilets and cabinets in the baths as well, including the plumbing of two of them. Victor is really skilled in a variety of topics, but he is definitely as master of painting; he re-painted all our walls/baths and the exterior deck with an outstanding result. We was able to patch multiple holes in our house and get exactly the same texture as the other walls. We highly recommended Victor, specially if you prefer to lead with one single person than with multiple contractors, his prices are fair and he delivers quality work. The thing we appreciated the most was his honesty with the estimates and required work, we never got the feeling that he is trying to get any extra cash if it wasn't really required. With the gate project, we were trying to solve a problem with a sagging gate but there were several different approaches that could be taken. Mr. Franklin listened to what we wanted to achieve both operationally and esthetically, and delivered a beautiful new gate that re-used our wood and functions perfectly. I interviewed 4 contractors/handymen for my bathroom remodel- Francisco was the only one to show up…read moreon time and who seemed genuinely honest. I hired Francisco to remodel my fairly large sized master bathroom...and, I needed to get it done in 2-3 weeks. Francisco was consistently on time, the bathroom turned out beautiful, his pricing was fair and reasonable, and he actually finished when he said he would (first time EVER in my experience with contractors). He even drove me all the way down to San Jose to pick up tile! He works with an equally conscientious and talented granite fabricator (who rightfully so, takes great pride in his work), a kind plumber, and glass cutter/shower door installer who was able to also deliver on time (despite the rush). Overall I was quite pleased. The only thing I feel I should mention...don't let him throw away any old parts until you are SURE the new ones fit (better yet, have his plumber check all the new fixtures before anything is tossed). We ran into a glitch with shower handles not fitting the shower stems and this was one area where I felt his customer service skills could have used some polishing (but, I think this is a guy thing where men can't own up to an oversight/mistake- sorry, guys). However, after many phone calls, I was able to finally locate the correct parts and he sent out his plumber who installed them promptly. Aside from the shower handle incident, I am happy with the work completed by Francisco and his team and would hire him again (and, refer him to a friend).
