They came to take a closer look, and found that it was an issue with the grout, and not the caulking. They revised their quote to around $600. Preston finally responded to me. I reached out to him and let him know that the photos that I sent might not have accurately conveyed the severity of my problem. I told him that I was happy to have him come take a look and pay him the $280 that he quoted, but that I did not want him to run into the same issue as the other handyman, and end up quoting me more money or needing to reschedule the job because he was unable to fix the actual grout. That's when Preston became extremely rude and unprofessional. He again had left me on read for nearly 2 days, after I brought up this concern. When I reached out to him to follow up, he told me that I would have a $99 cancellation fee if I canceled within 48 hours. I not only had contacted him four days before the scheduled work date, but I reached out to follow up with him 48 hours before the scheduled the cancellation date. Preston was unfortunately a poor communicator, and extremely unprofessional in this case. I do not know the actual quality of his work, but based on his communication with me, I would not recommend working with him. On August 19,2022 I hired RW Handyman Services to fill holes in the stucco on the rear of my house where I had holes left from a patio cover I had removed. Unfortunately, and without my knowledge or permission, a Day Laborer worked on the wall, and apparently did not have the skills to complete the job correctly. No surface prep work was done. Instead, the worker smeared stucco over the length of my rear wall, dropped wet stucco on my newly installed pavers (he did not use drop cloths), and proceeded to paint over the stucco before it cured. Now, the stucco is curling and peeling off, and I will need to have it redone before the rainy season.

We felt like we were not able to diy this job and Nick and Max had a reasonable price for the work and didn't make us feel bad that it was above our skills. Nick communicated with us through text and kept us informed during the whole time he was scheduling and working on the job. They were tidy during the work and respectful of our kitchen tile. Nick even offered to take our old disposal and dispose of it. They left our kitchen very clean after their work. Nick said if our disposal leaked to contact him and they would come back and fix the leak as part of the job. It did leak and they came back the very next day, added some stuff they picked up on their way to our house and took the whole thing out and reinstalled. It has not leaked since they were last here. We were very impressed with their expertise and customer service and are going to have them do some more jobs at our vintage home. He gave me a 20 min heads up when he was on his way and he got here promptly on time. I need 3 things: 1. I wanted my bathtub recaulked since it was gapping in some places and thin in others. 2. I needed my outdoor threshold recaulked since when there is heavy rain, it tends to intrude into my unit. I had done it during the last heavy rain but it was really messy and I think I had missed some spots. 3. The last was a small task of replacing the filter on my bidet. He was very clean and took his shoes off and put on covers when he came inside. He seemed very neat and organized.
