I was then taken to a room. By 4:20 PM, the injector still hadn't come in, so I decided to step out and ask about rescheduling. At that point, the receptionist told me the injector was about to come in and was "drawing up the medication." I questioned how the amount could be determined without first consulting me, especially since my last visit was a year ago, prices may have changed, and I had questions. The receptionist repeated that I was there for a "repeat," but their definition seemed to go beyond what a customer would reasonably expect. In the past, they also took photos before starting, but this time there was no consultation or photos--just being placed in a room to wait. Overall, the experience felt rushed and lacked the communication and attention to detail I had previously received.

I cannot say enough about the exceptional quality of care you receive from the moment you walk through the doors. From check-in to check-out, this office delivers the kind of outstanding experience that so many medical offices are missing. For starters, the office is ALWAYS spotless. It feels more like walking into a spa than a medical office, which is always a welcome bonus! With paperwork for signatures and verification completed ahead of time, check-in is quick and seamless. Wait times are minimal, and once you're in the exam room, appointments are efficient without ever making you feel rushed, unheard, or dissatisfied. You leave feeling cared for and confident that your needs have been addressed. Personally, I have only seen Britney, but I know she surrounds herself with the best of the best. I have no doubt that anyone on her team would provide the same exceptional level of care and service. The DermBar truly sets the standard for what a medical office should be. If you're looking for a team that combines professionalism, efficiency, a beautiful environment, and genuinely outstanding patient care, look no further. I cannot recommend them enough!

They're definitely NOT one of those places where you see a medical professional for 5 mins and they kick you out right after.(Especially the kind where you wait an hr after your appointed time). I came in early at The DermBar and they even checked me in early. I love that they are super efficient and genuinely care about their clients. I came in as a cash patient since they couldn't take Blue Shield PPO at this time. But that didn't bother me and it was preferably better for me since I don't enjoy dealing with insurance. Highly recommend The DermBar! Be sure to check out their IG! (Also shows where their entrance is located) Lots of parking, so no need to fret! Dr. Machida performed my deep plane facelift, upper and lower eyelid surgery, full-face laser treatment, and additional CO laser resurfacing around my mouth. Dr. Machida is highly skilled, meticulous, and takes the time to answer questions and make sure his patients feel comfortable and informed. What impressed me most was not only the quality of his work, but also the level of support and follow-up I received. Knowing that my surgeon and his team truly cared about my recovery gave me tremendous peace of mind. His staff is absolutely amazing. Everyone is warm, professional, and compassionate. I especially want to recognize Bertha at the front desk. She is simply lovely. Every time I visited, she greeted me with kindness and always sent me off with a cheerful "Safe travels." Those little personal touches mean so much and make you feel like family rather than just another patient. Cosmetic surgery is a big decision, and I am grateful that I chose Dr. Machida and his team. Their skill, compassion, and dedication to their patients are truly outstanding. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Brian K. Machida to anyone seeking facial plastic surgery and rejuvenation procedures.
