This place is absolutely incredible! I found this resort about 3 years ago and after visiting the facility and seeing the staff interact with the dogs, the cage-less boarding which I wanted, how incredibly clean everything is, and how many activities they have for the dogs, I was in love with the place. Now my baby has a little brother who had to be introduced to the daycare, and the staff were so patient and reassuring to make sure his introduction went smoothly. My two go to their "vacation resort" for a week when I go to mine bc I refuse to fly them as cargo and they have a blast! I'm able to relax because I know they are safe and loved...and what else could a mom ask for? Sometimes I just take them to spend an afternoon because I know they love it, and my one pup loves to swim so much that it's hard to get him out of the pool! I have planned my departure airport for many trips (business included) around the location of their two facilities. Like any sentimental mom, when I drop them off, I figure in the extra time for kisses, but usually my dogs have other ideas and as soon as we are 30 miles from the daycare on the interstate, they get these huge smiles on their faces which last until they start whining in anticipation in the parking lot and then race to the door like, "Come on Mom, we wanna go play...no more kisses!" Should I also mention that I am 150 miles away, yet I know every single staff member by name and they know even the littlest quirks about my dogs. I walked in to the Hellertown facility once and a staff member greeted me by name, and then said, "Let me get another staff member to get your baby because as you can see (noting his armful of dog toys)... it's 'toy time' and they're waiting for me." How amazing is that...structured toy time! The dogs take priority and to me, that says SO much! I frequent there so often for afternoons of playtime, that I'm pretty sure my car could just drive there on auto-pilot if that were an option! The distance I drive to take them there should speak volumes for itself. Take your dogs there...you'll make them the happiest pups on the planet and they will give you extra snuggles that night as a thank you for the fun day......at least mine always do!!!! read more

As an overly protective dog-momma, sending my furbaby anywhere for an overnight required extensive research. We are from the Harrisburg area, and found that all the daycares/boarding places around us kennel or crate the dogs at some point in the day - or for most of the day! My dog has crate anxiety, and it breaks my heart to imagine putting him in a run or kennel that looks exactly like where he stayed when he was a shelter dog :(. Plus they require additional payment for "extra" playtime, treats, or one-on-one attention. For real! (Fur real!) Not only does my furbaby have the (supervised) freedom to run and play ALL DAY at Furry Tail, but I can check in on him via webcam (and I do...constantly...please see first sentence), and see that he is having fun AND there are always staff members present - playing and interacting with the dogs. Perhaps my favorite part of A Furry Tail Come True (and Too) is that when we pick up our bubba, we get a full, detailed report of how he did! With so many dogs at the daycare, it just really impressed me that they know my Scout by name and can tell me what he did all day...and I know it's accurate because I kept a Big Brother eye on him throughout his stay. Thank goodness for the staff of Furry Tail -- they are worth the 2.5 hour drive every time for the peace of mind knowing that my bubs is taken care of and loved!! read more

We just love this place. Jess, Anthony and all the staff are so great with the dogs. Our 1 yr old lab Rocky can't wait to get there each morning. He even lets himself in the door. Dogs know who cares about them. We are seniors and when we rescued Rocky from TN, we knew we wouldn't be able to give him the exercise he needs. Furry Tails was the answer. We go to the Nazareth location and it is the best. The play and pool area are huge. The place is always immaculate. We really like all the video cams and check in on Rocky off and on. He's either running around with his friends or taking a nap. He always comes home tired and happy which makes us happy! This is one place truly concerned with the dogs in their care. Rocky is so excited to get there that he actually lets himself in. We've been taking Rocky for a year now and never had a problem. He's even been boarded and we were so worried leaving our baby for 3 days (well my husband was anyway). When we picked him up, he didnt want to leave - he had so much fun! My husband actually complained that Rocky doesn't seem happy to see him when he picks him up. Of course he doesn't - he loves it there and we love it too! read more

This is the best place in the Lehigh Valley to take your dogs for boarding, daycare and grooming! When we board our dogs they come home cleaner then when we dropped them off! They usually stay for at least 8 days & nights in July & sometimes October and when we pick them up they are all bathed, brushed and nails clipped! They go to daycare there so I love that I can have grooming there while they are at daycare! We have 3 dogs & one has gone there for 7 years! Never one issue! Now we have a 5 month old puppy who we would not be able to have without them! He's a Vizsla & they need to run around alot & they are hard to tire out but on daycare days we actually have peaceful evenings in our house! My husband and I are next-door neighbors of A Furry Tail Come True since they opened 7 years ago. We are there all times of the day and night and marvel at all the dogs playing and the way the staff interacts with them. It genuinely seems like a children's day care. It's amazing and has been that way consistently through the years. When they first opened, we wondered if we would have any odor from all the dogs - and we NEVER have had any problem at all. From our vantage point they take excellent care of the dogs and the dogs' environment. Also, the owners and staff have gone out of their way to help with a local feral cat problem over the years and saved many unwanted kitty litters on our property, on their own time. Once I went over to ask how to use a cat trap for the trap, neuter and release program, and they already had been using one to try and control the feral cat population. They love animals and go beyond what is even part of their business to help them. read more

When we first got our lab Finnegan, our schedule was not as flexible as we had hoped. At about 6 months it was evident that we needed some help with his care (and energy). Jess and gang at Furry Tail Came True in Hellertown were so great. They loved him and all the other people's "kids" while giving him the fun and exercise he needed. As lab puppies do... He played and had his ear nicked by a tooth within his first few days. Jess called me, kept him separated from the other dogs, watched it to see if he needed a vet visit, and was so apologetic about something that happens when dogs play. I appreciated her honesty, transparency and genuine caring for our dog. Finn knew his play date days and jumped for joy until we put him in the car to leave. He's a more mature dog now and has some leg issues so we exercise him at home now but would take him back for boarding or daycare at any time. Thanks to all who loved our boy! read more

I have taken my two poodles there several time when I went away on trips. I loved it because I could watch them on the doggie cam and could see they were well cared for and happy. Once I went to Lehigh Valley hospital for day surgery. It ended up a 10 day stay. They had no problems with the unexpected stay for the dogs. When I was discharged from the hospital, they even let me watch the dogs from the window inside before I went home as they had to stay a few more days till I was sure I could care for them. I didn't want them to see me and get excited and then have me leave again. The staff was very supportive of my request to me see them both. I also like that at night they do no have to be in crates. They can sleep in their own bed. I tell all my friends about Furry Tails if they are looking for a boarding place. I live about 20 miles away but would not take my dogs anyplace else. read more

I can't say enough about how happy we are with A Furry Tail Come True! We have been bringing our basset hound Millie here for about 6 months and in that time, she has gone from a trepidatious, shy puppy to an outgoing dog who I'm fairly certain thinks she can conquer the world. She attends three days a week for roughly ten hours each day and always comes home healthy, happy and tired enough to be sleeping in the back seat by the time we are pulling out of the parking lot. The staff is awesome! It's very evident they all love what they do and the dogs they care for. They even took the time to teach my girl to swim (this involved one of the staff members actually getting in the pool with her)! A Furry Tail Come True is a wonderful doggie daycare!! My dogs go to the location in Nazareth and they absolutely love it. The owners and staff are so welcoming, friendly, trust worthy, and caring. As soon as we walk in the door they know exactly who we are and are so excited to see us! My dogs practically drag me inside once they realize where we are! The staff takes such good care of my dogs and I appreciate hearing all about their day when I come to pick them up. The daycare is wonderful with multiple sections of play and live webcam streaming all day long. Every time I check up on my dogs I smile watching them run around and play. I take my girl to the Nazareth location. I'll sum it up for you... I LOVE THIS PLACE. MY DOG LOVES THIS PLACE. It's like a mini vacation for her every time I drop her off. I told the owners they are never allowed to close because it's the only place I feel comfortable leaving my baby when I travel. I can check in on her any time I want and watch her play. The owners and staff genuinely care about the dogs they look after. They know them by name. All of them. They play with them. They swim with them. They even sleep over with them. They even foster dogs for a local rescue group and help find them loving homes. What's not to like? read more

We have taken our dog to both locations and have been extremely satisfied with both. Our dog is a regular at the Nazareth location now. The staff are so excited to see him and he gets excited to play once he arrives. The staff are so caring and know the dogs very well. You can check on your furry friend using a webcam app. It is fun to watch them play with the other dogs. We have left our dog for over 8 nights while we go on vacation. We also take advantage of grooming while he is there, which is super convenient. Jessica and the staff run a great day care and we can't imagine leaving Dublin anywhere else. read more

Jessica and Anthony and their staff run a top notch doggy daycare. As a responsible pet owner, we researched our pet care options and found them to be outstanding in all areas. Our dog has special needs (he is deaf and partially blind). We were very concerned about how he would do in this type of environment. Since the facility is covered with video cameras, I can at all time, view my dog and what he is doing and how he is being treated. This gives a pet owner the ultimate confidence. I bring my pup to Furry Tail's Nazareth location and I just can't say enough good things about it. Jessica and Anthony, and their staff take such amazing care of each and every one of the dogs that are there daily. Someone can always give you a report on your dog's day and answer any questions you may have. The fact that I can watch my boy on their cameras throughout the day is an added bonus! I don't trust just anybody with my dog, but I trust them 100%. I know he is in great hands when he is there. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Great place for any dog!! read more

Actually jealous that I can't stay here to play with my beagle when she goes, but boy am I happy when she comes home and is all tuckered out from a day of play :) They have everything! A pool, lots of playground equipment, and a caring and nurturing staff. We use the Nazareth location exclusively just because it's closest to our house - an app gives you access to the many security cameras they have set up throughout the play areas so you can check in on your fur baby, but we rarely use it. I want to support this business all around so I am posting on both locations. I send my dog to Nazareth but I have multiple friends who send their dogs to Hellertown and love it too! I also used their training, AFT dog training and they turned my dogs life around where another area trainer wouldn't even help us because my dog wouldn't take treats. Yes, you heard that correctly. From Birthday celebrations to homemade favors for the holidays you really feel like family. I have boarded my dog at the Nazareth Location and wouldn't trust anyone else with her! They provide excellent supervision and a clean, safe environment for play and boarding.
