My aunt recently passed and the funeral was planned for the following day. We were having a difficult time finding a florist who could help us with last minute casket spread. We visited 3 stores all of which said it's too soon and they had no flowers to help us. We went to A Flower Patch and the gentleman who greeted us was lovely. He was the first one to say how sorry he was for our loss. He immediately said he would be happy to help us. Showed us multiple options within our price range and showed us pictures. We asked for red and white flowers and he said don't worry, we will take care of it. Everything with A Flower Patch was easy. He knew exactly which funeral home we were going to and organized delivery etc. When we arrived at the funeral home, we saw the most beautiful arrangement for the casket. Received an arrangement from here. As I was handed it, I noticed many of the flowers were missing petals, were brown and oddly there were several hairs stuck to it ( and they didn't belong to the delivery driver whose hair was in tights braids) Upon looking at it, the arrangement isn't worth more than $50. When I mentioned this to the person who gave it to me, they were pretty shocked seeing as it cost them over $150. What's funny, is that it certainly wasn't the size you'd expect for that much money, nor were any of the flowers costly, it mostly consisted of cheap flowers and filler. At that point I was on the verge of tears, which I know sounds dramatic, but for someone to spend that much money on an arrangement and have it in such an unpresentable condition, I just felt like these people didn't care about sending something of such poor quality to the recipient. Receiving flowers is supposed to feel great but when you feel like you were just taken advantage of and sent garbage, it's a terrible feeling. Pretty much the opposite of what someone is trying to achieve by sending flowers. I honestly could go on and on about what a negative experience this was and how we basically had over $150 taken from us in exchange for $25 worth of flowers that were ready to be recycled .I received the arrangement yesterday and it's already practically dead. They probably made this 3 or 4 days ago and it was just sitting in the fridge. This thing will likely not make it to the end of the weekend. What a waste of money. And also, why was there hair in it? The one star is for the very kind and lovely delivery girl. Order flowers from literally anywhere else, unless you're looking to ruin someone's day and be charged exorbitantly for it. UPDATE- my house is now INFESTED with flies that seem to circle the arrangement. WOW.... read more

I came to purchase flowers during a very hard and they were so helpful - making the process extremely easy . Edit - during the ordering process everything was great - very friendly . However I ordered the flowers for my grandmother's funeral and when I arrived to the service the flowers weren't there . When I spoke to the shop the day I ordered ( Friday I went in to the shop the service was on Monday ) I specifically told them to deliver the flowers at 1pm because the funeral director told us to be there around that time to set up. We got there at 115pm due to everything going on I hadn't noticed that the flowers weren't there until my mother pointed it out and it was 2:04pm ( the service had already started and no flowers had arrived ) I called and spoke to someone on the phone who wasn't very friendly being that they were in the wrong . After about another 5 minutes I called again and was told the flowers were delivered and that I should look for them because the driver who delivered them was already back at the shop . I paid an extra $10 to have them delivered for the flowers to show up mid service and they were delivered to the wrong location after again I specified the chapel name. My family has been going to this flower shop for a long time and I was extremely disappointed. The arrangement came out nice but the trouble I had to go through during such a hard time to actually locate them wasn't worth it for me. read more

Checked out the place again after about a year or so. Place is still very expensive and a bit overpriced for my tastes. Nothing's really changed. Unfortunately, the clerk seemed very uninterested or extremely annoyed at me visiting today. However, their selection of artificial flowers, vases, and other knit-knats are quite good in quality and variety due to the large shop size. My god, I ADORE this place. Shelby and Ashley are a fantastic team, and they are incredibly knowledgeable. All you have to do is pitch an idea, then sit back and watch as they bring it to life. Seriously, you can see into their back "design room" area, and literally watch them throw it all together. It's like Edward Scissorhands meets flowers.. Dinner and a movie, if you get what I mean! The customer service is phenomenal, if you haven't already noticed by what I said above! The flowers are impeccably fresh and they have new stock just about every day. The one time I had a delivery sent, my in-laws said that the delivery driver was SUCH a nice man. Teamwork makes the dream work, am I right?
