This was my half way pit stop point on the way back from Key West, and it's definitely the most bang for your buck in a single stop. You can get food, drinks, and activities all in one. I fed the tarpons which was a unique and cool experience. Went over to Charli's and got a fizzspresso (new favorite coffee drink) and had to try a key lime pie bar of course. I left feeling like my trip wasn't just a drive, but an actual journey worth taking. If you're driving through this is definitely a must stop.

Plenty of parking, and while not many of the shops were open, the main restaurant was. Service was on point, they quickly brought us water and even a bowl of cold water for our pup. Definitely appreciated the pup-friendly outdoor seating. We tried the conch fritters and fish dip. The fritters were delicious, warm and crunchy on the outside, soft and flavorful inside. The fish dip was okay and came with plenty of jalapeños, chips, and crackers. The chips were stale, but honestly, the dip was better with the Toll House crackers anyway. The bonus was sitting outside watching the tarpons being fed by other tourists, so entertaining! Overall, a nice spot for a refreshing drink, quick bite, and a chance to stretch your legs before getting back on the road.
