Dropped in for a LiveScan service without an appointment. Via was very sweet and knowledgeable. The process was also quick and painless, and Via knows how to get good fingerprints quickly. I had to get ink fingerprinting done for an out of state RN license and both ladies who helped me today were great. I made an error and didn't realize my home address was incorrect after all the fingerprinting was done but they were able to help me correct the issue. I felt really bad since I should have been more careful when double checking all my information but they were so both so kind. The environment was a bit congested and seemed sketchy. There were salt rocks that she seemed to be selling and maybe second-hand DMEs too? My boyfriend and I both got our Live Scans done. We were walk-ins but the building didn't even have an "Open" sign or posted hours. I just pushed the door to see if it'll open or not. To start out, she had us "wash" our hands. But that meant putting our hands in a bowl and her dumping what we hope is soapy water from a bottle of cleaning solution. The technician seemed to be a bit forgetful and not able to multitask because she thought that she did my boyfriend's fingerprints but she did not. She didn't give us a hard time but it just was the oddest Live Scan that we have ever done. Also, it was the priciest rate we've ever gotten. My boyfriend needed at Live Scan as a volunteer at our church and it was $44. I needed a Live Scan for my medical profession license and it was $76. But we have other church volunteers that paid $38 at UPS in Carson. We're most likely not going back. read more

She was so sweet and gave me some little tips on how to keep my hands/fingertips in better shape. I guess I use really hot water when I do dishes. She was the first place I called. I just went to her, I got a good vibe over the phone and the price was great! She made time for me when no one else was in the store. She was extra safe and sanitized everything down, even the papers. She wore gloves, N95 mask and face shield. You must also bring and wear a mask to be in the store. I had such a wonderful time getting fingerprinted! Via is beyond wonderful and sweet. She took her time doing my fingerprints and even restarted when one of the fingerprints smudged a bit. It may have taken extra time but I really appreciate redoing it now vs getting denied and having to come back. She was so cute and commented that I must wash with really warm water and I should get my boyfriend to wash the dishes more often. She had me comfortable and laughing the whole time. I'm so glad I stopped by here. I love how the room is adorned with plants and Himalayan salt lamps. You can even hear the trickle of a water fountain coming from the back of the room. The energy in the room is so relaxing, I initially thought I entered a massage parlor instead of the fingerprinting office. I have palmar hyperhidrosis and Via--the chief operator--gave me tips on how to manage it (e.g., using cold water and less hand sanitizer). She's been working there for 10 years so she has some good tips for people with sweaty palms like me. She also didn't make me feel embarrassed that it took a few retakes and extra time to get my fingerprints. Via gave out a really caring and funny auntie vibes, I will come back and refer others here! Well, I only had $51 on hand, so was offered to pay by card, but for $55. Very petty: After her initially disclosing the following 1. All the live scan offices in the area were closed. 2. So everybody was coming to you causing a "wait time" because there were 2 clients before me. She claims it was a miscommunication. I repeated the price with excitement. And tried to retract her statement of success. "I don't make much money here", she says. In the end, I went to the ATM for a $20 and ran to yelp. It is difficult to find a fingerprinting business open after 5:00 PM on the weekdays; I work Monday thru Friday 8-4:30 PM, and I wanted to get the fingerprints done asap, during the week. Via was still open and told me she'd stay until I got there. Like other reviews I read, she sent me a picture of the building and the address-very helpful. I got there and she had done everything pretty quick. My service was fingerprint cards. She was very nice to let me use the restroom afterwards. Since I wanted to get to the business as quickly as I could, I didn't stop at the bank. I had just about the exact amount to pay for the service. I may have been a dollar short at the most, but she accepted it. I even stayed a few minutes and chatted with her! I sent my fingerprints off and they were completed successfully!
