My stylist, Caylin, was incredibly kind and professional. My hair was in rough shape: dry, neglected, and in desperate need of conditioning and layers. Caylin and her instructors took the time to provide excellent feedback and guidance, working together to make sure my hair got the attention it needed. I noticed the same efforts with other students. I also loved that the products used spoke for themselves. Caylin never tried to upsell me; instead, she explained how to use them effectively, which I really appreciated as someone who likes to keep things simple. I was honestly surprised to see negative reviews for this location because my experience was outstanding. There's convenient parking on the street (2 hour limit) and a nearby garage. Since the Rockville location closed, this will definitely be my go-to. Scheduling an appointment online was super easy, too. Highly recommend this salon and especially Caylin (she has two months to go!).

Booking online could be better- as the current website is a little confined in its mobile state. But that doesn't effect your in-person experience. I was pleased with the feature that let me choose my preferred stylist- as I can now book my appointments with the same hair professional. On the note of professionals, with a little bit of research online I could tell that the stylists here meant business. In my experience, they will give you tips and advice for managing your new look- as well as an estimate for when your next appointment should be. It is important you know what style you want before you go however, as you may need a consultation if you don't. That is a separate product/appointment that they offer. A big thanks to my stylist Cam, for helping me understand the steps to get my hair to look the way I wanted it to! I will absolutely keep coming back because of this standard of care. When I called, I was told over the phone that my son's appointment was moved to a different location and was guaranteed. After arriving at the new location, they were clearly too busy and still had us wait for over an hour, just to tell us they were "packed" and could no longer see my son. This was completely unacceptable and a huge waste of time. On top of that, barbers were smoking in between appointments, which makes this a very inappropriate environment for children. Overall, this place lacks professionalism and basic respect for customers' time. I would not recommend it--especially for families.
