Opie in the middle!
Shawn F.

They are just finishing up, but don't worry they already have an awesome doggie daycare & Opie's response to the new kennel says it is just as good! He is so happy to go in as he is to see us when we come home, well, almost ; ) Anyway, I was so nervous when we were on vacation & wondered how Opie, our baby, was doing, & I couldn't call so I emailed the owner & he sent me the best email & picture of Opie describing exactly what & how Opie was doing. It made me feel so great, relaxed & comfortable that he was having a great vacation also, so we could enjoy our trip! Thank you so much! You & your dog will definitely love it too as much as Opie & we do! Take a look at his sweet before & after face!

We were pretty nervous about leaving our 3 standard poodles in someone else's care, even for a…read morecouple of nights. They had never been left like that and we didn't know how they -or we - would feel about it. We searched, visited and searched some more, then we heard about Fetch! ... and are we happy we did. Cathy and her staff are very professional and screen their customers (boarders) carefully for all their immunizations and general health. It's important to take your dog in to meet them and see the facility ahead of their stay - it made all the difference for our dogs and they made themselves - ahem - right at home. Here's why we chose Fetch! and would do so again. The place is spic and span clean - no stink. The dogs are kept in private areas rather than confined to runs and those areas can be adjusted in size according to the dog's (or, in our case, our 3 dogs') needs. Our three were kept together and we were allowed to bring their crates and bedding (they're accustomed to sleeping in their crates) and even a small rug. Cathy has a good selection of clean toys and all the dogs get personal attention all day. Play times are interspersed with quiet time. One thing that especially reassured us is that Cathy has an apartment in the building and STAYS OVERNIGHT WITH THE DOGS. They are never left unattended. She knows people, too, and sent us a text to let us know all was well. We don't travel much these days and when we do we usually take our pups but if we need overnight boarding again we will definitely choose Fetch!

Work here is great! Love playing with all the dogs! They are all so unique and fun to be around.read more

I always let them know that my girl "went to school" to learn some tasks. We have a line of communication and can get questions answered afterwards. We even have Val and Caleb board our dogs when we take trips out of the country and cannot take them. Run, do not walk, to book your appointment to get your dog(s) trained at Guiding Canine's. We have 2 Mini-Australian Shepherds and one is very fear reactive as he was attacked on trails many times as a young puppy. We had other trainers tell us our male dog would never live a normal life and could never be around other dogs or children. Guiding Canines took the time to understand our dogs and create a meticulous training plan! They simulated real life situations since we had a baby on the way with noisy toys, crying dolls, strollers... the WORKS! We are so grateful for them! Our dogs did really well with the arrival of our son thanks to Guiding Canines! We stayed in contact with them and just moved to the East Coast. We were so excited to be near Guiding Canines again! They have taken care of our dogs and setup a follow-up training schedule while we get our house settled. They're extremely flexible but always keep the dogs best interest at the forefront. Recently, they helped facilitate a vet visit for one of our pups to get checked out. I highly recommend this team because they are truly phenomenal! We are forever grateful for them for allowing our dog to live a "normal life"!
