Pam's is the perfect place for them to start their school career. She is a loving and caring teacher that not only teaches them academics, but also social skills. My older son was more than prepared for elementary school and is now at the top of his class. I attribute much of his success to the foundation he received at Pam's. She gave him a great start on reading, which was possible because of the one-on-one time she was able to spend with him in this one room school house setting. Her assistant, Miss Sharon, is also a great teacher who has an amazing amount of energy and always has creative themes that the kids love.

They always just sat and watched them play never interacted with them. They try to boss you around with when to bring them when it's not school. It's DAYCARE. my kid would cry in the in the morning when dropped off and they would tell me to leave him on the floor. They wouldn't even give the kids a hug to make them feel better. Doesn't seem like a place that is there for the kids sake. I didn't even realize how bad it was till we found a place that is so loving and caring and actually teaches the kids and interacts with them.

Both of them are always in communication about how he is and his progress in his development . They both bounce ideas with me to see what's working for him and how we can better assist him since he is nonverbal. My son is always happy to go into their arms. It doesn't feel like I'm dropping him off at daycare. It feels like I have family watching him. That peace of mind is priceless. For that I am forever grateful. I can't forget Mrs. Belen!! My daughter's teachers were ALL wonderful - kind, passionate about kids and their subject(s), engaged in the process with the right amount of authoritativeness to keep kids in their seats and doing the work. The admin team is VERY strong, led by the new principal Dr Ramirez, his VPs Mrs Taylor and Mrs Jessica and the entire support staff is top notch. I think the student experience is deeply effected by how involved and supported they are by their family. Obviously this can be tough when parents have to work multiple jobs and juggle lots of kids - which is the case for many at Potter but I think the staff is really great at making sure all students get the support they need. As a bilingual child, we have seen a huge improvement in her English, but even more importantly, we have watched her become more confident, independent, and comfortable expressing herself. One of the things we love most about the school is the amount of outdoor and unstructured play. It is so refreshing to see children encouraged to be children. Watching them play in the mud kitchen, collect rocks, search for worms and frogs, and explore nature has been wonderful. The teachers don't take over their play--they observe, listen, and step in only when needed. Because of this, our daughter has learned how to communicate with her friends, work through small disagreements, create her own games, and build confidence in her own ideas. The teachers are incredible. Communication has always been easy, and I am constantly impressed by how well they know each child. It feels like they truly see and understand who your child is, even in a short amount of time. The learning experiences are thoughtful and engaging. This year, the children watched chicks hatch and followed their journey in the classroom, which was absolutely fascinating. Our daughter would come home excited to tell us about what she had learned. I also have to mention the events and celebrations. The amount of care and attention that goes into creating meaningful memories for the children and families is something really special. Whether it was Mother's Day, Father's Day, or the Christmas musical, every event felt heartfelt and memorable. Seeing our little girl on stage during the Christmas performance is a memory I will cherish forever. The parent-teacher conferences are also incredibly thoughtful and well organized. We always left feeling informed, supported, and reassured. The teachers take the time to discuss your child's progress in detail and answer every question with care and honesty. Most importantly, throughout our time at The Way Preschool, we always felt that our daughter was loved, safe, and genuinely cared for. As a parent, there is nothing more important than that. We toured multiple daycares and instantly knew this was the right place for us. The in-home, warm and loving feel that naturally comes at Happy Times was exactly what we were looking for. I didn't want a cold, sterile daycare where my children would be another number. On top of that, they keep everything clean and sanitary and have a huge yard for lots of outside play! They do so many fun, educational and engaging activities, each day my children sprint out of the car in the morning to go to "school". Not only do they have fun there but they learn so much as well! Every week I can see their intellectual and emotional growth and it makes me so happy to see them thriving. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for child care.
