Long story short - I ordered a bouquet to be delivered to my wife on Valentine's Day. No delivery by 4:00 p.m, so I called and was assured that they would deliver the next day before noon, and that it would be "very special" to make up for our disappointment. There was nothing discernibly special about the bouquet that was delivered the next day, but the next day they just delivered the bouquet I ordered. Let me start off by saying that my wife loved her flower arrangement, which is the reason I'm giving A Classic Bloom 4-stars. I would have given them 5-stars had it not been for a minor issue that I will discuss towards the end. First and foremost, I loved the fact that their website is very user friendly. You start by choosing the occasion, in my case, I chose "Love and Romance". You can then filter the arrangements between "Best Sellers, Highest and Lowest Price". I went straight to best sellers and right away I was able to find the arrangement I liked; I chose the "Sweet Pink Romance" for my special person. After you make your selection, you're able to see a detailed description of the flowers included in the arrangement, which I personally found very useful. You're then given the option to choose "Premium, Deluxe and Standard" package. This was a very special occasion for my wife and I, so I went with the Premium package. You then choose the day for the delivery. I placed the order the day before the scheduled delivery date; however, they do offer same day delivery. From there, the next step is to select the occasion, which in my case was for an anniversary and then you're given the option of writing a special message for your loved one. Finally, you enter delivery and payment info and then you're done! It's as simple and easy as that. It probably took me around five minutes to go through the entire process, which I appreciated a lot since I have a rather busy schedule. Now, the reason I took away one star was due to the conversation that I had with one of their reps. As mentioned above, we were celebrating our anniversary so it was a very special occasion to say the least. Now, the arrangement was going to be delivered to my wife's job; she works during regular business hours. So the day of the delivery, March 3rd, I called around 2pm because my wife had not yet received her arrangement and I was concerned they might not make the delivery on time. When I asked the rep if my order was on the way, she said no. She stated that it would be picked up on the next trip. Business hours are 9-5pm so when I called at 2pm and the order had not yet been picked up I became very concerned. When I asked her about how much longer it would be, she couldn't give me a timeframe other than saying it would probably be another 2 hours. Additionally, she stated she didn't know how long it would take to deliver them because she has no idea how far the address was. I won't go into more details on how the rest of the conversation went but I will say that she seemed very uninterested on my urgency to get the flowers delivered to my wife in a timely manner on such a special occasion. Some people might not care about customer service but I personally expected them to be a bit more sympathetic about my concerns. After all, it's not every day we celebrate our 14 year wedding anniversary. In the end my wife was able to get the arrangement and was very happy with it, which is why I'm giving them 4-stars. Would I use them again? Definitely! Would I recommend them? I believe in supporting local businesses, so definitely yes! Besides the small hiccup, everything went smoothly. I've attached close up pictures of the arrangement so that everyone can see the beautiful arrangements that A Classic Bloom puts together. So don't hesitate to use them for your special occasion. These guys are superstars when it comes to customer service. We had a friend in the Hospital at MD Anderson and was going to get out of the hospital the day after surgery. The arrangement was absolutely gorgeous, and the birthday girl was so very pleased. Online ordering was very easy, and the delivery was made on time. Being from a small town in south Texas, the prices were a bit higher than I am used to, but that appears to be the case in general in Houston. Once I saw the arrangement, I feel it was well worth it.
