If you're looking for a flooring contractor with honesty and integrity, Christian is your guy!! He truly takes pride in his work and does things the RIGHT way!! We saved money for years to have new flooring installed at our Big Bear property. Unfortunately, we initially hired people that had no idea what they were doing and improperly installed LVP which cracked and separated in a couple month's time. Money wasted and lesson learned!! Luckily, we found Christian who rescued our place and did an absolutely beautiful job on installing new floors!! He gave us great advice and recommendations on what flooring would work best. Christian, Jesse, and Riley did a beautiful job installing my atheism floor tile, lastweek. The team moved very fast! They clearly knew what they were doing, and they had their teamwork choreographed for maximum efficiency, while still doing high quality work. The work was split over multiple days, and each day they left everything very clean. The price was very reasonable. Christian is very responsive with communication - sending timely text updates as he's en-route, etc. He also gave great advice as we were sorting out some of the final design choices. I would definitely use this company again, for any future tile projects. One of my neighbors has also used Christian for flooring work, on multiple occasions, and was equally pleased. I've attached some photos, but they don't really show the color very well, as the lighting for these photos wasn't ideal. Christian and his crew did a superb job on our floors. Cris was very patient with me while I tried to decide which materials to get, even though he had to redo the bid several times. We did laminate flooring downstairs with patches of tile in the entryway and bathrooms, and carpet on the stairs and 2nd floor. The different materials flowed seamlessly through the house, and when everything was said and done, the floors looked amazing! The crew also did the job in record time, and the price was reasonable. The only small downside is that he requires you to obtain all materials, but this could actually save you money overall. Christian is great in every way. I first called him a couple years ago with some flooring questions. His level of enthusiasm for flooring was amazing. He was very generous with his time and gave me his opinion on various types of floors. We probably spoke for an hour. I completely changed my ideas after learning all the information. It took me a long time to get to the job. Once it was time for the job the work was done professionally and very neatly. I didn't know the stairs could be done but Christian suggested it and it was a HUGE improvement over the ugly carpet before that was so hard to vacuum. The home looks like a new place! There was one minor oversight and he sent someone right away to take care of it. I have had trouble in Big Bear before with poor business practices, but Christian was on top of it with that aspect as well. I called Christian after seeing reviews here and a beautiful floor he installed years ago for some friends on my street. He recommended an excellent vinyl plank product and his crew installed it in 3 days, exactly when he said they would. It's true that they're the best in Big Bear, and they covered every possible detail from a craftsmanship standpoint. Everywhere I look on the floor, I can see that they did things right rather than cutting corners to finish quicker. My house settled and slopes down in one spot significantly. To get it perfect I would have had to hire a structural engineer and spend a lot more. Christian worked with me and accepted a compromise I could afford to handle the slope. This is hard for a great craftsman to do, but his professionalism is just as strong as his skills. I don't know how A Class Flooring rates compare to others that aren't as good, but for me the prices didn't seem too high and it was certainly worth every penny. With Vinyl Plank Flooring you have to install it between 55 and 80 degrees. Christian brought multiple propane heaters and electric heaters so they could continue the install. When replaced 900 sq ft of floor tile, replaced ugly slate with beautiful stack stone around our wood burning stove, added additional counter top granite tile, replaced rough stone pebbles with smooth stone tile in shower + replaced our baseboard. I rely on Yelp for finding just about anything under the sun; and, for the most part, I find the reviews to be pretty reliable when taken as a whole. That said, for as much as I consult Yelp when making decisions, I rarely write reviews myself. Quite simply, I'm short on time and I would rather do just about anything but write a review in my spare time. So, if I'm writing a review, you can bet that there's a pretty good reason. In other words, the company or service was really outstanding or really awful. In this case, the former is true. We found A Class Floor and Tile through Yelp. They seemed to have pretty rave reviews. Christian provided us with a fair estimate on labor and we took the plunge on hiring them to redo almost our entire home in vinyl plank flooring (BTW, super happy with our Flooret Modin floors as well). Everything you have read about A Class's amazing service is absolutely true. Christian was timely, honest, fair, hardworking, but most importantly, competent. These guys showed up early every day and worked their a**es off until the day's end. They not only did an amazing job, but did so for the agreed upon price (no surprises), and finished the job FASTER (yeah, I'm not joking) than they said they would. This, mind you, was despite a snow storm that forced them to set up an outdoor covered work area made out of tarps so that they could continue cutting floors and doing their job in an efficient and effective manner to finish on time. I can tell you there are plenty of guys that would have called out until the storm passed (and I honestly would not have blamed them). But, these guys are unbelievable and worked straight on through. They truly went above and beyond in every way and I can't thank them enough. They have earned my highest recommendation. A Class Floor & Tile replaced all of the 1200+ sq ft of carpet with Mannington Adura Max Apex vinyl plank flooring. The downstairs subfloor was rotted and rickety. So, they added an additional subfloor laid all of the flooring, and then replaced all of the baseboard. They removed all of the furniture, including the major appliances, and covered them up outside. They started from scratch rather than piecing bits and pieces together, around the furniture. They looked at the big picture, aligning the flooring correctly. Christian and his team arrived on time, were respectful and clean. They cleaned up after each work day, and even blew off the parking area after the job was completed! The floor looks great!!! They took pride in their work. Christian was responsive, and maintained excellent communication, and promptly returned to repair a minor issue.
