Betty, who manages the office, is pleasant and helpful. They will give you an estimated time when they'll be there and will call to let you know they are on the way. I so appreciate that. Their pricing is fair and competitive, and they are honest; they've never tried to sell me a part or a service that wasn't needed. After my long-term HVAC service company went out of business, I was faced with securing another…read morecompany to service our heat pumps. I put off the task for a long period of time. The response time was great. An appointment was set for the following day. The technician arrived on time and got the upper unit working in a timely manner. The repair price of $401 was about $150 higher than I expected. Perhaps this relates to my not keeping up with pricing on HVAC repairs. To my mind, there was an over emphasis paid in joining their repair club. The cost seemed too high to me. I declined the offer to join their club. The technician did not haul off the old filters. My prior technician always hauled off the trash. Would I recommend Dodrill? Yes.

Not only was the man kind, patient, and knowledgeable, but he told me to take out a pen and paper and write down what he was telling me. I took diligent notes, he explained throughly, and we talked for a length of time as he made sure to thoroughly understand and take care of my needs. Once the phone-call was finished, I felt knowledgeable about my problem and how to proceed in fixing it. The real kicker is, not one part of the resolution benefited the man financially. He took the time to teach me and help me with only the intent and desire to help; he had no financial agenda and was only looking out for what is best for me. This is truly the sign of an honest man and business and will surely be my go-to moving forward with all of my needs. I am thankful for all of the patience I was given and for the man taking the time to educate me in my issues. I am even more thankful that I was given an affordable fix that I am able to do myself.

We were only going to add AC to our bedroom then decided that since the entire attic was opened up, we would add it to the main living areas as well. Kevin, one of the 2 owners, looked the project over and came back with his design and suggestions to further reduce the temperatures in the attic via his "green suggestions." We thought, this guy knows how to engineer a system, he is really into tweaking the design to maximize the air flow and minimize the sound and keep us involved in the process, so that we felt, they want us happy with the outcome. His partner, JP, did all the installation and again he showed us everything. He wanted approval on all aspects of what they were going to do and how they were going to do it. Where the equipment would be located and how to minimize all this new stuff being installed against our home and make it blend in with what we already had so it didn't scream AC. And of course, where to put all the vents and minimize their instrusion. At the end of day, it couldn't have been a better fit....they were the best company for our job and we thoroughly enjoyed working with them. I will recommend them to anyone who wants to install AC......and doing these post construction installs is definitely harder than doing it when your building a new home. Thank you JP and Kevin.
