I was extremely polite to her, partly because I was honestly in shock at how I was being treated. I had barely even interacted with this woman and somehow already felt like she had an issue with me. She was rude, dismissive, did not want to understand or do what I was asking for with MY hair, and trying to over price me. She was also extremely rough while brushing my hair. She was brushing from the top toward my head and coming down aggressively that I could physically feel where the brush had hit afterward. I was in shock. I genuinely did not feel comfortable having her continue touching my hair. She tried to make a point of bringing up that I had previously paid around $210 with a senior stylist, but that $210 was for THREE separate services. Abby wanted to charge me $175 for ONE service. Those are not comparable. She also told me that the prices listed on THEIR OWN WEBSITE were wrong when I questioned the pricing. I could afford what she was charging me. I simply did not want to pay that amount to someone who had already made me this uncomfortable and didn't even seem interested in working with me on what I wanted. I want to make clear just how uncomfortable I actually was sitting there. I wasn't simply annoyed about a price or unhappy with a consultation. my heart was genuinely racing and I didn't know what to do in the moment. I was so shocked by how I was being treated when I had done absolutely nothing to her that I found it difficult to even speak up for myself. I stayed polite and left politely because I just wanted out of the situation. And Abby, if you're reading this, I want to make something VERY clear: I did NOTHING to you. Genuinely, nothing happened between us. There was no argument, no previous issue, nothing. I sat down, I was polite to you, I explained what I wanted for MY hair, and I asked questions about pricing. That was it. I don't know what your issue with me was or what happened before I sat in your chair, but I did not deserve to be treated that way. I cannot imagine being such a bitter fake person. please go back to being a receptionist like you were for the last five years. For reference this girl JUST became a stylist, and the only reason I know this is because I have been a loyal customer to the salon. but I won't be ever be back. I called the manager, Savannah, afterward because I genuinely thought she would care that a client had left feeling this uncomfortable. Savannah told me that they had discussed my encounter after I left, which made how dismissive she was toward me on the phone even more disappointing. Shame on management for hearing that a client felt this uncomfortable and still making her feel like her experience didn't matter. I'm not someone who enjoys leaving reviews like this. I genuinely loved coming to this salon before this happened. Kory and Natalie have ALWAYS been kind to me and made me feel comfortable, which is part of why this experience was so shocking and disappointing. Maybe Abby will choose to be perfectly nice to you. She wasn't to me. And that's exactly why I'm writing this. You shouldn't have to sit in someone's chair and wonder what you possibly did to deserve being treated like that when you did absolutely nothing. I'm tired of people thinking they can treat someone however they want and simply get away with it. I wish I had spoken up more in the moment, but I was genuinely shocked and uncomfortable. I'm speaking up now because people deserve to know who they're trusting with their hair before they sit in that chair. Think about whether the person doing your hair is actually going to listen to you, be considerate of you as a client, handle you with care, and make you feel comfortable. I did not feel any of that with Abby.

I just got my hair done for the first time since I went to savvy (almost a year ago), and my old reliable hairdresser informed me that savvy stylist fried some of my hair off thus causing a good amount breakage (I was put under heat in foils with bleach on my head for +30 min at my touch up appointment (2nd app) because my hair turned out so poorly the first time) the savvy stylist left big portions of hair out in areas that should have been highlighted, I asked her to complete those sections during my second appointment and she tried to gaslight me and said that my hair wasn't brown on the sides, and when that didn't work she pulled out the stone walling technique and said that it wasn't even an option, so I was left with brown in my hair on the sides of my head. See photos attached. I paid around $300 for a "full highlight" from savvy ( I wouldn't even say I got a partial highlight done with the work they did). The blonde specialist that I went to pulled out all the foils at the same time, which is a red flag in itself because it did not allow the front of my head to process at all, causing my hair to turn out patchy and brassy. Leading to my second appointment, asking for more blonde at the front of my head and she fried my hair off. And talked bad about me throughout that whole appointment acting like I wasn't sitting there. I am still deeply let down that I have to live with the mistakes the stylist made on my hair (frying it off) for many years to come. Thanks
