Very shady. We were…read moretold that the notary fee was just the $60. That's all they mentioned before starting to process the transaction. Only $72 of the $158 total was PennDOT fees. $80.70 in notary fees for title transfer only. They also didn't mention the $5.30 "Vitu" (processing) fee. This brings the total for their services completely outside of PennDOT for title transfer only as a gift to $86.00 $86 in fees. Only $72 of the $158 total was to PennDOT. Total rip-off.

I am a funeral director/embalmer in the San Francisco Bay Area and was in need of reaching out to a…read moremortuary in Washington, PA and came across Warco and Falvo funeral home. One of the reasons I chose them for the professional courtesy I needed was the fact that they are a family run establishment. I started my career in a Family run mortuary (5 generations) in San Francisco where I worked for over 13 years. Still going strong now, 18 years and counting with another reputable funeral home/Cemetery combo in the Bay Area. But the best thing that ever happen to me to jump start my career as a knowledgeable funeral director /embalmer was getting my start in a family run funeral home. Even though I was not part of the family, they took me under their wing. Learned from the best in the business, a family of morticians that have been doing it for over 130 years the right way. Glad I reached out to Warco Falvo funeral home and was not disappointed at all when funeral director Tim Warco Jr. answered my call and took care of the situation I was in. Tim Jr. made me feel confident that he would do what he told he was going to do. Never had any doubt that he was going to get it done right. There is a lot of good to say about the Warco Falvo Families in Washington, PA. The same level of courtesy and professionalism that I was used to when I was at a family run mortuary in San Francisco was clearly evident. Thank you Tim Jr. for your help. You are highly recommended from one colleague to another colleague from two different parts of our great country! Glad there are professionals like you in our Death care profession. Take care of your family and each other in Washington, PA. Warm regards, Gus R. FD

The first thing I was met with was "Is there any Insurance?" How are you going to pay for this? I had only been in town for a couple of hours, not enough time to look for any paperwork. I wasnt shown a pricelist or offered condolences. While waiting for other relatives to arrive I was called several times (6) in the same day to inquire about the money for the service. The director was very rude, three a tantrum when asked if we could see a pricelist, quoted the law but couldnt produce it in writing, didnt allow us to give any input on the preparation of the body. We wanted our own hairdresser who was experienced to do her hair, she didnt wear make up but she looked artificial when we saw her. We werent allowed to view the body beforehand, we had to wait until the remains were put in the church an hour before services. I tried to speak to Mr Warco(Sr) at the church and he literally yelled and screamed that He had nothing to say to me because I upset his staff the day before by asking to view the body.I woildnt reccommend them to anyone.
