The onion rings were all clumped together and were definitely not the best. The service was a little slow as there was one person cooking and one cashier. It was a bit slow until an extended family of 10 persons ordered their supper. Therefore getting our supper served to us took a while longer. I would order this or the chicken one again for sure. It was quite pricey also, for example for the Grandpa burger with 3 thin beef patties it was $18.99! The restaurant was very dirty in the kitchen with food scraps and other garbage visible at the pick up area. But at least the dining hall of the En Route was clean.

Basic bar food, reasonably priced. The mozzarella sticks weren't anything special. The club sandwich was decent. The burger--the burger was remarkably huge and delicious! A hidden treasure of a beef patty. Yum. There was nary another soul in the place, and no sports on TV--it was the first day of March Madness, but instead, we saw an hour long Canadian entertainment TV special on Twighlight (the inside scoop on Rob and Kristen!), followed by a long interview with Michael Buble. Welcome to Canada! Note--they accept credit cards, but be sure to give them the amount, including any tip you want to leave, up front. They have a single-transaction machine, not the kind where you can write in a tip on the second line of the receipt. I learned this the hard way and was embarrassed that I had to tip in USD. I ordered a cheeseburger combo (comes with fries and a drink). The burger was exactly what it needs to be: The burger patty was made fresh (not frozen) and had that sweet, smoky hint of charcoal. The bun was soft and absorbed the flavor of the burger masterfully. The toppings were fresh, if not fancy. Covid-wise, I felt comfortable eating here. They take all the proper precautions, maintain social distancing and clean the place (what seems to be) every few minutes. An added bonus was the price. Don't know too many spots where you can enjoy a delicious charbroiled burger for under ten bucks!
