Was on the way to the beach and thought we would pick up some chicken for a picnic. So just wanted…read morethe chicken and ordered 6 pc. The pieces were so small. Turns out KFC cuts their chickens into 12 PCs. So let's do some math! $15.99 for 6 PC's works out to about $2.67 a pc. X 12 = $31.98 for a whole chicken, that's one pricey chicken. So I wonder how big this $32 chicken is. kFC says in their nutritional information that a pc is 128 g so 128g x12 = 1536g or about 3.4 pounds or $32/3.4 = $9.41/lb. that's some expensive chicken! I don't even think this location was using the KFC blend of 11 herbs and spices as the coating had little to no flavor. KFC is definitely off my list!

I think I've been once years ago; however, detoured here on my mini-weekend adventure. They have an extensive hot and cold menu and everything looks delicious. We ordered cross Trax (or waffle fries poutine), it did have a hint of spice that made eating it uncomfortable but after recovering from the spice, wanting to go back for more. Similarity, we ordered two dipped ice cream cones. Mine was orange creamsicle and it tasted like an orange creamsicle, wouldn't necessarily buy it again but glad I tried it. My cousin got the butterscotch and it looked delicious as well. I think the ice cream was definitely the best part. It was a comfortable environment. Service was quick and friendly. Price point was reasonable for the quality of food. Although Stratford-ites disagree with me and think it's on the higher side. Highly recommend this place for an old School drive in.

It was pleasant to eat our fish and chips at the tables in the central plaza of Stratford--where we could watch the life of the town go by. Someone else mentioned that the portions are LARGE, and while it sounds impossible, one piece really is plenty. I ordered two pieces, and didn't even order chips (just sponged off the kids' portions--they didn't miss 'em). I still had a piece left over for lunch. But if we'd been smarter, we'd have ordered less the first time, and stopped by again for another fresh, hot, and tasty serving.
