The Ewenwich was the best sandwich I've ever had and was great value as a lunch item, we even had leftovers. We toasted it in a pan when we got home for an extra level of crispiness. Don't miss out on this one! The crepes were more of what I would expect from an average place for a fair enough price, I would've appreciated more caramelization on the mushrooms and onions, as well as more cheese or greens to bind the filling together, but the accompanying side salad of the day was a nice touch and big enough to split! Restaurant experience: 5/5 Ewenwich: 5/5 Savoury crepes: 3.5/5

Started with the crispy fried rice balls (I'm a sucker for crispy rice and these did not disappoint) and the house cut fries with togarashi aioli to split. Delicious! I could not get enough of those fries. They were perfectly fried and seasoned and the aioli was excellent. For my main I went with the Karaage fried chicken bento box which was a generous portion of chicken with a peanut crunch salad, "scattered" omelette sushi, pork and shrimp gyoza, and a side of miso soup. It was all SO good and SO much food! I was uncomfortably full by the time we finished and packed mine up to go (the chicken made an excellent midnight snack later that night when I had the munchies back at our apartment!) Price point is great, portions are generous, staff was lovely, and the space itself was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Can't ask for much more! We'll definitely be back!

The menu seemed a combo between Western standards with Asian twist/influence. We ordered the mushroom miso soup as well as the tofu bao, the fried chicken with macaroni salad and the fried chicken with fries. the tofu bao was really good, the tofu was a big size and nice coating. the mushroom miso soup was average, not great. the fries that came with the chicken were fantastic! the macaroni salad was ok, but hot mac n cheese would've gone better with the hot chicken. the chicken and the biscuit were decent. overall good portion size food and decent flavor in a nice ambiance

I decided to try Skip the Dishes, but have always been afraid in the past because I can't do…read moregluten. The menus don't always show the gluten-free options or whether a particular restaurant has any. I was delighted to see Burrito Boyz had GF burritos right there on the Skip site menu. Beyond that, they have burrito options that include sweet potato, one of my favorite foods! I ordered a steak and sweet potato burrito with pretty much every topping you can think of. I like lots of topping options and heat. They did deliver on that. My hubby got a steak burrito with just a few toppings. He's more of a meat and potatoes guy and doesn't have the same adventurous taste buds as I do. Let's get to the disaster....the (and this is what they are officially named) Cheese Nachos. Because of our different tastes, most of the toppings I ordered on the side: jalapenos, salsa verde, sour cream, guac, etc. We chose nacho cheese and I also ordered refried beans on the side. We got our order in good time. It's really cool how you can see exactly where the driver is on the app. He was nice enough but really too rushed to be friendly. So, we open the order. There is NO CHEESE FOR THE NACHOS. They also left out the refried beans. I was seriously put off. How can you even eat nachos with ZERO cheese? I immediately went to the site and lodged a complaint. I did get a refund for the nachos, but I still wasn't happy. Hubby had to use a block of cheese I'd bought to make something else, but at least that saved the taste. I was still missing those beans though. This review was going to be three stars for the lack of those very important items, but then I bit into that burrito. OMG steak and sweet potato, so many other flavors. The GF wrap was grilled and had a nice char--best tasking GF wrap I ever tasted. I did pay for extra for extra cheee though, and I didn't feel the burrito had that. I also asked for hot flavor and although the nachos had that the burrito did not. We actually asked for mild heat on the nachos for hubby, so maybe they got that backward? The taste of that burrito will have me ordering again, along with the fact that they care enough to cater to the GF crowd. I just really hope they never leave the beans and cheese off the nachos again. Nachos with zero cheese is a major fail...but the burrito almost completely made up for it with the explosion of flavor.
