Not a lot of decoration, a few tables with chairs and a couple of booths, and a counter to order from which is perfectly fine but I didn't know having never been there if they had a wait staff or anything. So we looked over the menu for a minute and ordered a couple of dishes. My wife I believe had a chicken and lamb platter, and I had the fish platter. So far up to this point everything was fine but nothing was really over the top awesome, and then we sat down and ate. Oh my gosh that food was good. My wife absolutely loves tzatziki sauce which of course they had, and the chicken and lamb was served with rice and you get choices like lettuce and tomato and hummus and chickpeas that they can add to your platter. My fish platter was incredible. Her and I both commented a couple times to the gentleman at the counter that the fish was cooked perfectly. It was nice and lite and flaky and I wish there were more than just the two pieces on there. The price of everything did not break the bank by any means, and they do offer wraps, burgers, and breakfast items. We will definitely be returning customers...

The problem happened when I ordered the house burger- another top menu item. I asked for "medium rare", which should have a hot center but some pink left. What I got was well done- and dry as the desert. I had to drink a lot of water to wash it down. Normally-if this was a steak, I'd send it back. But- it was a burger and the kitchen was already jammed, so I choked it down- I was really hungry. I would not order the steak here- pretty sure a 6 ounce filet would end badly. The location was great since my family lives in surrounding towns. We opted to stay one extra night because we felt so comfortable. The room is pricey for weekend stays but completely worth it. Sat near the maître d' podium. The inside door of the foyer kept sticking open. Had to get up to close several times as it was about 5 degrees outside. We ran out of water during the entree so we scrapped any idea of asking about dessert. We got the $127 check that included one drink, one appetizer, two small salads, and two entrees. Overall a 3-star experience, and for the price, that's polite. Could we have sent items back...yes. I truly felt that subpar calamari and bland steaks were not getting any better with a second try and they would still come out with a lackluster plastic cup in the wake. The service was decent.
