When I moved here last year, Calle is one of the first places I ate and man have I conjured up somewhat of an addiction to this place. A spicy food lover, I get the Diablo dog with extra fresh jalapeños on the top. Sometimes I even get two! It's a good day when Calle is open. The owner is a super good guy who's hard working and has a knack for flavors. Fresh veggies and awesome ingredients makes for a consistently delicious meal. Also they're fresh burgers and quesadillas are an absolute treat. The only downside is that they're not open 24/7. Love Calle!

The hot dog itself isn't huge, just the standard one, but it's bacon wrapped. Load it up with tomatoes, onions, grilled onions. Jalapeno on the side if you want. The sandwiches are delicious, the house-made potato chips are nice and crunchy, and there's some great drink options. Plus, there's often live music. It's never been empty when I've stopped in, but I've never had issues with grabbing a table. There are some high seats and tables as well as some lower ones, and self-serve water and drinking glasses in the dining area. You order at the counter and they bring your food out to you. Service is friendly and it never takes too long for your food to arrive at your table. Old World Deli is in my top 3 sandwich spots in Corvallis. This is a great place to take a friend or a medium-sized (4-6) group of people for a sandwich and perhaps a show. Plus, the ambiance, decor, and painted ceiling are really cool!
