The pizza in the buffet are very good, cheese are high quality, ingredients are fresh, the crust cook just right, not too dry but fully cooked. All the sauce in the pizza taste like made in that hour, seasoned well and you just know it is house made not in a can like most pizza buffet.
The desert pizza was something I never had but loved the first bite. perfect pizza dough with fruit filling. Those fruit filling are either house made or some super great quality fillings, they are not too sweet but very fruity and had a nice consistency.
The salad bar has some good vegetables and pasta salad, pickles, olives and such, everything was fresh and really well seasoned like the pizzas.
The soup was an other high light, beef and barley soup has more beef than most beef stew you can find in other restaurant, the French onion soup was as good as some thing you would order by itself.
The calamari was nice, crispy outside and tender inside, nice dipping sauce, thin and well spiced batter, beautiful colour. The calamari itself is as fresh as you can get in Alberta.
The only down side I will say about the buffet would be lacking of any other things other than pizza, soup and could salad, some cheese and crackers or appetizers would be a great addition, but that being said, I am happy with what I got. Just not mind blowed by the selections has been offered. Quality over quantity, I'd rather have great things than a lot of things, but a lot of good things never hurt. I would pay more for more food, like deli meat or cheese.
The staffs were friendly and helpful, environments are clean and welcoming. The interior was a bit dated but everything are so comfortable and clean so I really did not mind.
The price was good, not cheap but still reasonable, two of us spend 50+ dollars with three dishes and buffets.
I will suggest for family dinner and such.
