I was craving a schnitzel and they delivered. Friendly service from the staff there as they were just opening at noon that Friday and we were asked kindly to wait a bit before they opened. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal while seated at the corner table with windows looking out two different directions over the golf course. That itself, was a fantastic feature of dining her. Parking was plentiful, and the drive was fun going under the little arched train bridge. Worth seeking out in the area.

We went out to the patio and so did some other tables. We all sat there for 25 min and no one came to serve us. My partner went inside to order drinks for us and asks if a waitress was coming outside? They said he had to pay for his drinks up front and they would sent someone out. I can understand if this was a busy weekend but the place was not busy. We waited another 15 minutes and I went inside to ask if a server was coming outside to take our order. The woman behind the bar asked how many were outside I said lots of tables. She said oh we didn't know I'll send someone out. In the mean time the owner or manager was making himself drinks and sitting at the bar drinking. Servers standing around chatting after we asked repeatedly if anyone was coming out to take an order. Few minutes later one waiter comes out and stood next to our table. I said hi eager to give him our food order and he looked at me and walked away?! He went to the next able and asked if they needed to order. They said yes they needed to order food and the waiter looked at them and went inside!! At this point I was worried about what the quality of the food would be with this service and such a large menu and looked up the restaurant. After reading other reviews we decided to finish our drinks and leave. We went to the bistro down the road which was a much improved atmosphere and experience. Will not be back here . The pear salad is what everyone raves about and that's what my friend and I both ordered during my most recent visit. It was delicious, as per usual. They're always doing fun menu things, like their recent "Turkey Dinner Perogies" which looked (and sounded) amazing. I've also spotted "Pork Belly Bao Buns" that I immediately had order envy for. In the summer they often have live music, as well as set up a patio out front. The service is great. The food is fresh and innovative. Everyone working there is lovely and accommodating. Washrooms are clean. Art is for sale on the walls. What more could you ask for?
