We were both hungry and because my husband is such a burger fan, we went to Fatburger. The restaurant itself was nicely laid out, and very clean. Especially the bathrooms! I love a place with clean bathrooms! There were tons of choices on the menu. I opted for a Baby Fatburger with cheese and an iced vanilla latte. Hubby got a double burger and an oreo shake. It didn't take too long for our drinks to be ready, and they brought them to the table for us. My vanilla latte was super tasty, as was hubby's oreo shake. Thick and creamy. I noticed it didn't have whipped cream on it, but it wasn't a huge deal. The burgers came out, and we dived right in. It was hot and juicy which is great. I think next time I won't get the relish on mine (because silly me didn't realize relish came on it, and I'm not the biggest fan of it to begin with). But for a fast food burger joint, it was good.

Was told it is taking longer because we ordered Bruschetta bread as an appetizer our meals are taking more time . Yet the people came after we ordered our appetizer at least 15 minutes after. This is not the first time this happens in a week couple a days prior we went and were told no seating available yet there was more empty seats then people sitting and eating? Asked why? Was told too many people in groups showed up and kitchen cannot keep up with their orders. Funny thing is I have been at this location many times when I have had to wait as it was full and never was I turned away ? So something wasn't right with the excuse I was given this turn around . Anyways will be taking a break from this location as it was a real joke the last two visits. Told the girl I could come back a day due to seating issues. She said we can try but there's no guarantee. We went back that night at 8:30 and we're able to be seated. We travel from out of town for this location only now we're gonna have to find one closer that doesn't treat their patron like this.

I had not been to Camrose for five years, so this was my first time in their new location. Also,…read moreit was my first time with the new menu. Location: OK. More modern and standard compared to their old location downtown. Service: I talked to two different staff. One when I ordered, and one after I finished my food and was about to leave. Neither could tell me the difference between their first three burgers on the menu. I was told to "look at the pictures". Menu & Food: The new menu gives names to their burgers, but doesn't say what is in them. I only learned what was in the burgers when I went to the DQ website when I was home a couple of days later. The burger patties are now thinner, which explains why there are now triple burgers. The triple burgers probably have the same meat as DQ's previous double burgers. The burger patties are not cooked the same as before, and do not taste as good as before. They used to have a grill taste, but not anymore. Price: The prices are much higher for the same type of thing as before. Last autumn (the last time I ate at a DQ), my meal (burger, fries, drink), was a total of $11.74. This time it was $16.79 for the comparable meal. DQ used to be my first choice for burgers. Not anymore. As for this location, I can't ignore the lack of knowledge of the staff for what they are serving.
