He said that he was his boss supervising him for the day. They inspected for about 45 mins and then worked in their vehicle for about 20 minutes to prepare the estimate. That's where things went south. He spent 20 mins showing videos of his company and how great they were, showing their various products etc before providing the estimate. Then when he presented the estimate it was $4000 more for shingles than two other local companies we had gotten and twice as expensive for metal than the other companies. When I ask for a roof quote that is what I want. The other two companies I got quotes from came out inspected and provided quotes. I did not need to be here. I don't want to be "sold" on roofing.

WARNING STAY FAR…read moreAWAY FROM ATTIC MAN! Doing business with ATTIC MAN will only leave you disappointed AND YOUR HOME DAMAGED! Marc's team consists of kids out of high school with ZERO experience in what they are doing. It only took them 2 minutes in my attic to bust water lines causing extensive damage to my kitchen, sunroom, and garage ceilings. The real kicker here is it took them almost 2 months to try and correct their damage. In the end, my ceiling still looks terrible! ATTIC MAN also told the bank that the job was completed so they could get paid early, when they never even started the work. I only received a check back from Marc after confronting him about it. (If that doesn't sound sketchy to you, I don't know what does.) I have also never ran across a larger a**hole than Marc. This man has ZERO customer service skills. He called me up one day yelling and cursing me out. (Who does that to a customer?) It's just unbelievable the lack of respect he will give his customers. My advice - Read the other reviews on here as well. There is a reason why this company has such terrible reviews. They lack experience and do not tell the truth! This company has no business doing what they're doing. I had to FIRE this company for good reason. In the end I found a great company NOT named ATTIC MAN to get the job done correctly and on time! ZERO STARS FOR ATTIC MAN

Starting spraying without me so I couldn't lay plastic down on the ground before hand (which they had told me to do at my consultation). The young workers were actually awesome and were not surprised that scheduling messed up as they, "do it all the time" they said. I even tipped the workers for their good work and for having to deal with the confusion but I told them I will call the company and complain about the issue. The owner calls me a few days later after hearing I wanted an explanation / compensation or for someone to come clean my concrete floors as I planned to stain them and they now have a coating of foam / glue on them. Marc, the owner, got immediately offended and made all the excuses he could come up with. Told me I am unorganized, a liar and should get my **** together instead of blaming them for my bad time management. He then proceeds to say we'll send you the recording of the call to prove we didn't mess up scheduling. They sent me the call BEFORE the scheduling call and never the recording of the actual time schedule call. I then texted and emailed him asking for the CORRECT recording.. they won't respond now. Marc didn't apologize or try to make things right. He threatened to sue me if I didn't pay the bill. Unfortunately, this was the one company I didn't research before hiring because this is a trend as their yelp reviews are horrendous. I paid the bill in full but want to warn the rest of the community to not use their services.
