She had ordered a BLAT (bacon, Lettuce,Avocado and Bacon) sandwich with Sweet Potato fries. The bread was not up to par and true to A&R Grills commitment to customers the issue was gladly resolved. He had The Cheeseburger and Fries! How good was it... there wasn't even a crumb left! Passengers enjoy a nifty menu of IPA, Beer, Ciders etc... driver and underaged customer have icy cold options as well ... but.... Here is what cost A&R a star... the water we were served was terribly. Is this why many locals on the 'plateau' stock their homes with bottled water? I didn't foresee this as being an issue. Stopped here for lunch on our way to San Diego. We ordered some mango habanero wings to start, then A&R burger, BBQ burger and a kids meal cheeseburger. Burgers were very flavorful and juicy. The fries very crunchy on the outside and soft inside. We were not impressed with the wings, they lacked flavor. Definitely a solid place. Server was nice and friendly. read more

We had a business lunch and wanted to go somewhere with a wide selection of food. So, I asked the young man attending to us what he recommended and he said the PB&J Burger. So I asked for it to be lettuce-wrapped and I paired it with a cup of chili. Chili was amazing, perfect amount of spices and it was topped with cheese and diced onions. This was our first time here and the burgers were hot, onions rings were crunchy, and fries were amazing. We will come again. When we arrived it was so warm. I asked a few times to the gentleman if any adjustments he can make and finally they turned on the AC. The family next to us thanked me for pushing him about the AC. The woman at the bar was so nice! The only man working on 3/8 came off careless and little rude to me. Reason I gave it 4 there was a few red flags from start to end. I asked for cheddar and he gave me pepper jack on my burger. While here I enjoyed the carne asada tacos and a Pineapple Cider. I was surprised because the tacos did not have lettuce in them which made me very happy. They were full of meat and not "fillers" which is perfect. The side of refried beans was good but I personally prefer smooth refried beans and not chunky ones. But what one needs to understand is that these tacos are of the sweet kind. You're definitely not going to have any semblance of savory or "meaty" (such as the taste of sautéed mushrooms, used in the veggie tacos that I ordered last time), in jackfruit tacos. Texture? Soft. So again, you'll have to give up the textural substance and the chewiness of real meat. On the overall, I still like the veggie tacos with the sautéed or grilled mushrooms and onions. Well first off, first impressions are everything to a lot of people. The parking lot/store front has trash floating around and mounds of dirt everywhere. To me your establishment should look respectable so you gain customers not trashy. Any ways on to the food. I went there for Father's day to eat with my family. I ordered the BBQ burger with onion rings and my wife got the same. The little man got Mac & Cheese with french fries and mozzarella sticks to share. Well either they don't change the fryer oil very often or the cook was lazy and not paying attention because anything that was fried came out burnt, the $8 dollar mozzarella sticks, fries and onion rings.... all burnt. As I'm not one to send food back I ate it them anyways. The burger was missing the onion ring (replaced with one on my plate) there was entirely to much BBQ sauce. My wife on the other had had a burnt burger along with burnt onion rings she didn't finish the food Mac and Cheese was good though. The restrooms both men and women were disgusting by disgusting I mean I held my son to pee disgusting. Looked like a bar restroom after dollar beers on a Saturday. When I give 5 Stars it is legitimate. Walked in and was immediately impressed with the layout. Although we were two of four people there, we were welcomed in by Raquel (Bartender). We stopped on our way back to the East Valley. Between the four of us, we had the chicken pozole soup, brisket nachos, Mac & Cheese topped with grilled chicken and the pulled pork sandwich. We are so pleased with our meal. Everything was really good. If there were any suggestions, the soup was not as hot as I prefer. It was warm but not hot. My son said the pork was a little dry but it might have been perfect for someone else. Our server was attentive and touched base with us when needed. Chose the French Dip. Somebody's grandma made the roast beef, toted it in antique Tupperware with a name on the lid, and served it up. It was Sunday dinner special goodness. One and done! Stopped here based on reviews for a couple burgers. I had a cheeseburger with bacon and fries and hubby had a cheeseburger. The waitress asked how we would like the meat cooked and we both said medium. The came out quick and once we were into them, they were rare at best. Too late to send them back to get "cooked" as we added Mayo, ketchup and mustard. The meat did not have that fresh flavor and we should have new able to taste it as they were pretty much raw. I also ordered the cucumber, cilantro drink and it tasted like the cucumbers were rotten. For $50 for two burgers and two drinks, we'll go to In N Out next time and save some money. read more

I've been to many sports bars in my time. This is definitely not one of my favorites. I chose it because it had decent reviews, a cool looking vibe and the food looked great. Service was quick and easy but the waitress seemed to have very little personality. There was only one other table being utilized at the time and she seemed to neither care to engage with either of us. The food was decent. The burger I had was oversaturated with onions, could barely taste anything except it. I asked for a side of ranch, it came out at room temp and after one dip was with my fires, in sure it was outdated. The setting is rather cool.
