I will NEVER go here again!!! I almost had to take this shop owner to small claims court. I went to this guy at LA Phone Repair (GPS/Maps says it's called "A&N LA Wireless") for a back replacement on my iPhone. I had mentioned I also had an Apple M1 laptop with water damage and it needs the mother board replaced so I was looking for recommendations. He said he could do it and said "don't worry about it". He said "don't worry about it" a LOT actually. I wanted to trust him so I brought my computer to him back in May 2022 and it was the worst experience ever. The guy wouldn't contact me for updates, wouldn't respond to my text message unless I text him several times. A month went by and he never repaired it like he said he would. He then convinced me it wasn't repairable and tried selling me a used MacBook Pro for $850 but brought it down to $650 once he realized there was already damage on the front screen that I pointed out and he somehow missed. I took it home and reset it to factory settings only to find out this computer once belonged to Sony Imaging studios and was locked with them. It was so frustrating. I had to bring it back to him and asked why it was like this and he said "that's the way they buy them". I'm starting to wonder if it's a stolen computer he bought from someone. I told him I still wanted my original computer fixed and he continually said "don't worry about". 2 months went by and I still hadn't heard from him. I would reach out to him several times before he responded, then he accused ME of trying to take advantage of HIM by using him as "storage space" in his shop for my computer, which makes absolutely NO SENSE whatsoever! He eventually told me my computer was at a shop in Hunting Beach now and that I could drive down there and pick it up because he has been out of the country the past couple of months WTF! I had to text him multiple times nearly every day to force him to get my computer back. Every time he would say "let me check" and then never get back to me! I finally got it back yesterday (Oct 31st 2022). This guy is absolutely insane and does not know WTF he's doing! I would never suggest to go to this place! To my surprise the guy who advertise the owner is mean and ungrateful he was bitter and mean because having so many people in the place make him uncomfortable. I found this place on yelp and someone said he charges 50$ to fix iPhones 5's well I found the place he was kinda rude and I told him I seen a yelp review where he fixes screens for $50 and he told me basically I was lying I showed him the review and he said that its old and he charges 80$ so I just left. I brought my phone here to get my screen fixed. The gentleman working told me to leave my phone and come back in an hour. So I left and came back and my screen was fixed. The same day my phone started to freeze and I had to constantly reset my phone. The Lightning port now has a wiggle and my phone will only charge if the cable leans a certain way. If you do go here make sure you stay with your phone or you will have parts inside replaced. I HIGHLY recommend paying the extra and going to a place that is reputable. Took my iPhone to have the LCD replaced . Yes , just the LCD not the screen (Screen was intact) . Apart from the fact that he was over an hour late to open his shop, had a little attitude and was condescending with other customers , I noticed when he gave me My iPhone back, the lighting seemed kind of off . He said it would readjust back after some time . Well, on my way home , The screen wasn't working it kind of kept wanting to pop off . Well after 30 minutes , The screen cracked! Took it to another shop because of course I wouldn't come back there. The other shop owner told me this guy switched my original Apple screen to a boot leg one! He basically robbed me!
