Excellent job, Steve! Picked up my car today and it looks better than it did in the showroom. Give him a try, you won't be disappointed.

I had a Honda LX and the transmission was shot. I was recommended Kwikee by a friend, but turned…read moreout to be the worst experience I've EVER had with a repair shop. I was told the car was fixable and should be done within a week. When a week past and followed up, they didn't even start on it yet. I followed up again a week later and they STILL have not worked on it yet. I just graduated around that time and I told them I needed it done by a certain date because I was not long allowed to stay in the Residential grounds as school year was over. I live 300 miles away from school and I needed this done asap. After a phone call of swearing and complaints, they then guaranteed me it was going to be finished by this date. It ended up being finished 4 days after the guaranteed date! I had to stay in a hotel with most of my belongings because I was not allowed to stay in the dorms anymore in school! Overall, it took them 20 days to finally finish my car, however, the job they did was horrible. The gears were still slipping very badly and they told me there was nothing else they can do. They charged me full price ($2000) for the entire job. I tried fighting it due to the job not being fully done and also the long wait of almost 3-4 weeks of not having this job done. Unfortunately, I had no other choice but to pay these group of *ssh*les off. I needed to get home and I couldn't stay a day longer, especially to waste money on the hotel. When I brought the car to my main mechanic, he told me they did a bad job and I got ripped off for $2000. I have advised numerous friends on campus to stay away from this place. I highly recommend to go somewhere else in Utica besides this place of crooked people. NEVER AGAIN!

He was on site and not only did he clearly and without pressure offer me options, he then explained the wash systems. The benefits and disadvantages of the touchless vs the one with cloth etc. He also gave me great tips. Like go slow over the undercarraiage wash. I was going to go for the most expensive option and he let me know that I really was ok without that until the snow was coming down. I appreciate very much the effort and time he took to explain. I spent too much time on my front undercarraige! Hahahahaha I didn't realize to roll up for the drying before losing 30/90 seconds. I would have done worse without Mike's tips. I look forward to becoming a pro. OH BY THE WAY, I chose not to go touchless as my car was TRES dirty. Oooooh so dirty. Now if I could find someone reasonable to clean the inside of the car. I only have so much energy! Thanks Mike.

I went to the Adirondack car wash to use the self service dog wash area. When I walked in, it was…read morerelatively clean and so that was a plus. You are able to use your bank/credit card, which is how I paid for my dog wash, so, with one swipe it charges you $10 for 10 minutes. I brought my own dog shampoo therefor I cannot tell you what their shampoo is like, or whether or not I like it because I used my own. I have a chocolate lab so he was relatively easy to walk up the ramp and into the tub. There is a tether so that my dog couldn't escape while I was bathing him. The water initially was kind of cold so I was concerned about that, but it did warm up nicely after about a minute. I was able to give my chocolate lab a mediocre bath but I went over my 10 minutes, the equipment will allow you to go to 15 minutes and charge you $15 before it shuts off automatically. I guess this is a good thing in case you forgot to turn it off, you won't get charged for anything over 15 minutes. So I had to swipe my credit card a second time so that I could finish rinsing the soap out of his hair and begin to dry him with their air dryer. They do have an air dryer with a relatively long hose, but the velocity that comes out of the air dryer is at a very, very low setting. So if you have a dog with an undercoat like a Labrador retriever as I do, 15 minutes will not even get close to drying his fur. I was charged for 2- 15 minute intervals at $15 each time and came home with a pretty wet dog. I think next time I will drive the extra 20 minutes and go try a different facility and hopefully can come home with a relatively dry dog. I'd be happier with spending $30 and using my own shampoo if at least he was clean and dry.
