I would go through phone prompt hell to be told, for example, that I was 3rd in line waiting only to either a) have the phone ring over 100 times and then hang up on me or b) I would just be stuck on hold for half an hour. 2) Their changing rooms are just cubicles with curtains on them. I was already feeling distinctly uncomfortable as they were walking around with a workman, discussing what they wanted done. So I quickly took my top off and put on the gown and sat down to take my shoes off, only to then have one of the employees PEEK IN THE CURTAIN AT ME. She asked me, without any trace of embarrassment at getting caught, if I required any assistance. Um, NO, I don't. She then peeked in AGAIN when walking by after my MRI and I was changing back into my clothes. If you do cannot tell if anyone is in the changing room simply by the fact that the curtain is CLOSED, then try knocking or clearing your throat. There is ZERO reason that you should be peeping in on people while they are changing their clothes! 3) The person who did my MRI was nice, but there was zero communication either before or during my MRI as to how long the process would be. My appointment was at 3 and I got there early to fill out paperwork, and I didn't get out of there until after 4:20. I will never go to this place ever again.

The staff is always friendly from the admissions to radiology. I don't recall ever waiting more than 15 minutes, & that was during a busy morning. Tip: Friday mornings always seem busiest. Recently I went for an X-ray on a knee that has been troubling me for several months. I went on a Friday afternoon & got right through. My X-ray was done through the jeans I had on. Pretty cool....no undressing. Not always the case of course depending on what you're there for.

They did an MRI of my neck and they have me a headset to listen to some music. The machine is larger and I was told can accommodate someone up to 500lbs. I didn't feel as closed in as I usually do. Today it was an MRI of my brain. It was noisy and I couldn't wait for it to be over with but it wasn't that bad! I wasn't sedated. If you need an MRI and they scare you or you are claustrophobic this is a place for you!

I am now 65 and can't afford the $390 concierge fee and am looking for a new facility for my mamogram. I am disappointed that he is my third Northwestern Memorial doctor that has skipped down the road to become a concierge doctor. I have other specialists at University of Chicago Med, they never do this, only the NWM doctors go this route. I know he is the best and hires the best x-ray techs (never cause me pain). By reducing his patient population, I seriously hope he is able to help breast cancer patients that need constant imaging.

LEXUS COMPLAINT LETTER…read more Our serious concern with Lexus of Merrillville's claim of "complete satisfaction" and "luxury service experience" started with a tire blowout in Gary, on our way into Chicago on Saturday, May 2. Change the tire and keep going, right? Not quite. Lexus removed the spare tire to make room for the hybrid battery in our 2025 NX350h.We expressed our concern about the missing spare tire when we bought the car in January 2026 and we were assured by the sales staff in Merrillville that Lexus had three solutions: 1. Run Flat tires 2. 24 hour roadside service (additional cost) 3. Tire and Wheel coverage (additional cost) - led to believe they would bring you a spare When we found ourselves stranded in Gary we found out the hard way that these solutions were no help: Run Flat doesn't work when you hit a pothole and it blows out the sidewall Roadside service was difficult to use and it was not Lexus but in fact it was AAA Tire and Wheel coverage doesn't mean they bring you a spare tire We called Lexus roadside service and the connection with the agent was frustratingly bad. The spotty connection was made worse by the fact our Lexus App did not show our names or location. We wasted almost 30 minutes just identifying who we were and exactly where our car broke down. "Luxury service experience" in this situation? Not quite. Bring us a spare tire - they don't provide this option Bring us a replacement loaner car - they can't do this in the field because it's a digital process that requires a computer in their office No, we had to ride with the AAA tow truck 15 miles (in the wrong direction) to the Merrillville dealership to pick up a loaner car. The service department shuffled me between agents when I called on our way into the dealership. No one met us in the parking lot when we finally arrived. During the process of finally getting our loaner car we find out the "computer" was a tablet that could have been accessed anywhere, including roadside in Gary. We were two hours late for our event in Chicago. Any future trips in this car will have to be planned around close proximity to Lexus dealerships and their operating hours. We were told by Lexus if the blowout had happened after hours we would have to find alternate transportation and accommodations until they reopen. We may have to replace our brand new car. Lexus of Merrillville failed us.
