The first time, I had a coolant leak and the mechanic actually SHOWED me where it was leaking. Actually seeing the problem with my own eyes when the car was on the lift immediately made me feel that they can be trusted. They fixed that problem, did some other overdue maintenance work, and the car's been running much better now, zero problems. The only minor problem I had was that I asked for the parts to be returned to me, and they weren't. That really wasn't a big deal since my driveway isn't full of coolant spots any more. I thought the price for this repair was entirely fair. The second time was a problem that couldn't be duplicated when I was driving it while the tech was in the car with me. Ah well... They didn't charge me for that visit. The most recent visit was exceptional. I managed to get the end of a gas funnel stuck in the neck of my gas tank. This caused all kinds of problems when I'd fill up with gas at Kwik Trip. I tried to fish it out myself, but couldn't. I brought it to the dealership, and they told me they couldn't see it or get it out after allegedly scoping it out. The dealership charged me for that visit. I know they have bills to pay, so I was OK with that. On a whim, I brought it to the new Meineke (formerly Pope Autoworx). I told them what happened and that I wanted them to try to get it out, but I'd pay for an hour of time, no matter what. I told them that I wanted to save the part so I could see it. Well... THEY GOT IT OUT!!!!! The dedication, time and effort that they showed me in actually FIXING this problem impressed the hell out of me. I do my own oil changes and brake jobs, but for nearly everything else, this Meineke garage will be my first call.

They did a transmission flush on my 2024 Tucson Limited and, at first, there was an issue with the pricing (had a Costco discount), but the manager came to the rescue! He generously adjusted the price which was unexpected. Plus, and probably most importantly, my car has been running smoothly and the manager came to tell me personally about the issue with my transmission and what to look out for. It is unclear after taking my vehicle to the dealership whether or not I was lied to because I am female, possibly even because I am African-American or whether or not these individuals need to be retrained on how to do their job. I was told that one of my tires has a 3/32 tread and that it needs to be changed immediately, causing them to refuse to do the tire rotation the entire reason I chose this location. The dealership mentioned that all of my tires are in fact 6/32 and they measured them multiple times. so was I lied to ? Because they simply didn't feel like doing the work, it's unclear. I was then told that I had an oil leak. In fact I do not have an oil leak. Someone messy poured oil into in area, causing it to slowly drip down in several places underneath the vehicle. I've lost an entire Friday thinking that I needed two new tires and to repair an engine leak. I was essentially overcharged and lied to and was not given a tire rotation as requested then told I needed additional work done on my vehicle when in fact, I did not. I wish there was a way to give this place zero stars. It's been a headache for no reason. I can't tell if these men are simply misogynistic and predators or if they're idiots. Additionally, I sent an email requesting possibly an alignment to see if perhaps that's why the tread on my tires has gone down so quickly. I was ignored.
