Update to my 10.30 review... After having my convertible top replaced by A and B, I washed my car only to find water pouring into my vehicle as I washed the it. I had a 20 year old conv. top on it and it never leaked.. I finally got in touch with Mike and brought the car back in... We met face to face and he offered to trouble the issue.. Total gratitude!! I felt confident that he / his staff were up to the task.. He called me and shared that he felt it was an issue stemming from an area of the windshield.. I trusted what he said; I picked up the car today only to deal with Denise who was the opposite of accommodating with me when I arrived. There was another customer in the store and I waited patiently until the three of them finished their busines.. I followed Tony outside and I kindly requested Tony to perform a quick water test and he seemed as though he was fine with moving forward with that until Denise intervened and denied ME, THE CUSTOMER (WHO BROUGHT HER CAR BACK FOR AN ISSUE THAT I DID NOT HAVE PREVIOUSLY UNTIL MY TOP WAS REPLACED) THE OPPTY. TO WITNESS A WATER TEST ... hmmmmm, Mike did a water test in front of me last week only for both of us to see the streaming water in my car. I appreciated that Mike took the time for a face to face and perform a water test in front of me.. I told Denise that I would like to see the water test done because I want confirmation that my car was no longer going to be p*ssing water inside... Mind you, the hose was ready to go in front and she told me the workers were busy and said, DON'T YOU TRUST US???? OMG...Just wowwwwww.... It's 2025, Denise... no one is to be trusted... Just need confirmation that the impending rain over the weekend will not be streaming into my vehicle!! She dismissed Tony in an emasculating manner. She refused this accommodation... I will never ever recommend this business... Too bad because I think Mike is lovely and seemed to be just as horrified as I when I discovered the flowing water inside my vehicle... Denise is extremely unprofessional... Regardless whether the water issue is resolved or not, I will not do business with A and B again... Maybe Tony should be the GO TO when Mike isn't there since he possesses humility and professionalism; Denise clearly has poor customer service skills... Sad for Mike because he seems like he loves what he does.. Time for her to retire.. read more

Mike and his staff at A&B are not only the Best choice you can make when getting a convertible top replaced but should be your only choice. Mike will give you an estimate and the price won't change after the work is completed. They take their time and use their skills to make sure the project is done properly and better than before. Most places never even replaced the Top on my vehicle which is a Nissan Cross-Cabriolet that was only produced 2011-2014. If you are smart and don't want to be disappointed with other repair shops that will promise everything but in reality will overcharge and not get the job accomplished, think before you act. After 12 years the leather on my drivers seat began to rip. Was referred to A&B by V&J auto body in Lindenhurst- I needed to bring my car in to get a quote. The quote took only a few minutes and the price was great. They tried to complete the job in one day, but it ended up taking two because they are so busy. They replaced the face (front) of my drivers seat (back and seat) with leather that matches perfectly. The workmanship is exceptional and I am extremely pleased with the end results. i have collected and driven sports cars since 1968. lived in many cities and have had restoration work done in atlanta. had my bmw 1600 tii,redone by bavarian imports on howell mill rd, in atlanta. nice owner, and energetic staff. but the work was barely acceptable just recently, i needed a new top for my nissan z roadster. " bob" is a great leader, and the heart of their company. he is a consumate professional, perfectionist, with attention to every detail. this job was completed within the time frame on the contract. it actually fit better then the factory top!! these guys don't mince words..they just get the job done seemlessly...having been around shelbys, morgans,tvr's and jaguars my whole life. if these guys accepted a restoration on a vintage sports car: i would expect it would be pebble beach concours quality..if you need work done on your car....forget the rest....these guys are the best!!!!!! read more

The entire experience was awesome. It all started with me wanting to buy on eBay inexpensive protective seat covers that I could simply just throw over my factory seats on my new SUV but the shopping experience was exhausting with all the different colors, styles, fabrics, etc. Fortunately, after days of shopping on eBay, I came across a gorgeous set of leather seat covers custom to my car. But on arrival, I learned that they weren't the type to simply throw over the factory seats; these had to be professionally installed because they are the type that replace the cloth factory seats. So now I had to locate an installer so I turned to the websites of a few manufacturers of leather seat covers to see if they showed recommended installers in my area. After a few calls, I was referred to A&B, called them and spoke with Mike, who was super professional, patient and accommodating. Several weeks later I was finally available to get this done. I called Mike and he was able to fit me in the following week. On Monday morning I dropped off my baby with office manager Denise at A&B and she told me it might be ready by Friday. On Thursday morning, she called reporting that my baby was ready for pickup; I was so excited; I showered, packed my bag with work and took the 2 hour trip on public transportation. Upon arrival to A&B, I paid the totally reasonable bill using my debit card, received my car key and went to my car. Oh my God! I got all erotic. What a great job! There's nothing more you can ask for. My brother-in-law just got into recent year 4Runner and after seeing the job done on mine, he's all in; we're currently shopping for his leather seat covers and guess where he's getting those bad boys installed at?????
