Every person I have met throughout my project has been a dream! I honestly believe they care as much about my home and doing what is best for me and my family as I do. I highly recommend! Long story about my incredible experience so far below: Our roof and siding were older, losing grit and fading, and we had lost some shingles in a storm (see blue patch in before pictures). After having another company out that was okay/average, I did some research and read a ton of reviews. Home Genius Exteriors really stood out from the rest, so we decided to setup an appointment. Our Home Remodeling Expert was named John and he was the best! He did a complete and thorough inspection of our home inside and out (including using a drone). He even went up into our attic mid-summer to see what was going on under the roof. He then took us though all of the photos and videos and explained what was happening. He also listened to what we were hoping to improve. He provided multiple options and recommendations and answered all of our questions and concerns. Next thing I knew we were creating models of our actual home and toggling between different colors, styles, materials, etc. John was extremely patient as it took a while for us to get it dialed in just right. He wrote up our project, helped to find some discounts and areas we could save money to stay within our budget without compromising the end result we were now in love with. We decided to get a roof, siding, windows, patio door, and gutter replacement to completely makeover and modernize our home. The next day we were contacted by our Home Genius project coordinators Tiffany and Beth to schedule our roof install and to have a technician out to remeasure and confirm our windows/patio door order. I figured it would be a while to get on the schedule...They blew me away. Measurement appointment tomorrow and roof install the next day! Our measurement technician was named Frank and he arrived on time, took off his shoes without being asked (love that), and his attention to detail was impeccable. He even went as far as to reconfirm our order and to walk us through what to expect with the windows and patio door install. That afternoon Brandon, our Home Genius Project Manager for the roof install, called to introduce himself and provide a detailed timeline for the day of the install and to see if we had any questions. He also informed us when the dumpster and materials would arrive that evening. The next morning Brandon and the roofing installation crew showed up at 7:00 and began prepping our home, including hanging tarps from the roof to protect our landscaping and even moving all of our deck & patio furniture out into the yard for protection (see pictures). Then the work really started - the crew was incredibly fast and efficient! They had all of the old roof off in less than 3hrs. By lunch they were done laying the new underlayment and starting to put on shingles. They worked non-stop. The roof was finished by 8:00 and what I really appreciate, is they spent almost an hour cleaning up the jobsite and even using magnets to make sure no nails were left behind in the grass or landscaping. Brandon was terrific throughout the project. He provided detailed explanations of what was happening, provided updates on timing and progress, answered all of our questions, and made sure that the installation was perfect. He even came by the next day to do a second final walkthrough to make sure nothing was missed since it was getting dark the night before. Roof looks amazing and we couldn't be happier! Can't wait for the next stages of our home transformation!

The salesman, Matt, came quickly on February 15, 2020. He promised the moon and quoted a high price. I pointed out the senior discount and published discount. I finally got him down to $4,999 for 175 feet of gutters. The LF team started work on February 18 and ended the next day. Three separate installers performed the work. These guys looked like they could barely handle the job, and I heard one muttering and swearing about his task. I believe they installed hidden supports, but I never saw them use sealants to repair end caps or downspout elbows. This was not an overly careful repair of existing gutter issues - just capping and screwing in the screens on top of the gutters. I monitored the screens after they were installed. I have tall maple trees in back. The first maple droppings were the reddish buds that stuck to the top of the screens in bunches. Then there were those stringy maple droppings and, finally, the whirly gigs. All of this detritus stuck to the top of the screens. I did not have an overflow until a long downpour in May. It occurred from a valley in a peak on the front of the house (this is a typical Prestige home), and debris had clogged the screens in a gutter corner under the valley. I called my former gutter cleaner, and he swept the filters and roof for $300. I note that my Lifetime LF Warranty promises that my LF system will not allow "the interior of [my] gutter to clog with debris causing [my] gutter to fill with water and overflow..." That's true! The screen is so fine that nothing is getting into the gutter, but water is still overflowing the stuck debris on the exterior. I still need a gutter cleaner to clean the maple tree debris, but the downspouts are clear and running (if the water can get through to the inner gutter). Accordingly, I am partially satisfied with the system, but would have paid half as much if I had known that is was not a complete solution to overflowing gutters. I attach photos of the gutters from April and May to show that the maple tree droppings did not dislodge and remained stuck to the filters.
