But that's exactly what happened to me and six of my fellow wedding-attending friends this weekend. Luckily, I called Williamsons and not only was the operator friendly (at 12:30 a.m.), he got a cab to us in less than 10 minutes' time. The driver was courteous and delivered us to our destination both quickly and safely. Highly recommend if you ever need to call a cab in St Andrews.

The person on the phone was pleasant and friendly (and as an American in Scotland, I could fully understand her - so that was good!). Taxis were there a little early for the requested time or there quite quickly when called for immediate pick up. Drivers made us comfortable. Really happy with them and would recommend. And it really beats driving on the "wrong" side in heavy traffic.

They had 3 limos and i choose to have the white one it sat 16 girls very comfortably it had a small vip area at the back of the limo sat about 6 a bar area lots of glasses music system and the flashing disco lights. The driver allowed us to put up after the bridge going into edinburgh to have photos taken the only dissappointment was that the driver did not know how to get into edinburgh and had to wait on another limo so he could follow him but it did not spoil our night just seemed a bit absurd?

We stayed at Broomhall castle on our way to the Highlands. Ian is the Manager and he gave me his cable box when mine wouldn't work. He really went above and beyond! The food here was delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend checking them out as COVID hit them hard. One other notable thing was the selection of cookies, tea and coffee in the room. Very welcome after a long day of sightseeing. They are very close to the Wallace Monument and then off to Stirling Castle.

As this is a busy time I tend to perbook and they have not let me down yet. The drivers are just the typical taxi driver but they do also have a few women drivers which is always nice. The cars are clean and appear to be well looked after.

More intimate and personal than the international airports. Dundee Airport and it's staff is an asset to the local area but it really is in need of expansion. Most flights are quite expensive hopefully expansionwill bring lowerprices.

It's about 40 minutes away from St. Andrews, but it's the closest Hilton and we were using points. The beautiful, old mansion that is featured on the website is an overly-flattering view of this hotel. That building is where the restaurant and bar are located, but the actual rooms are in an attached, 2-story stucco building that is lackluster at best. The gardens behind the hotel are very lovely on a nice day, however. The rooms themselves are fine. Nothing fancy but completely comfortable, and we weren't spending much time here. We had a king bed room that was in reality just two twins pushed together, which makes for very uncomfortable snuggling as you can feel the seam in your back. The room was small, but not the smallest I've experienced in Europe. BYO shampoo and conditioner--the stuff offered by the hotel is not good. One big complaint is that this sits adjacent to a major road, and you can hear cars on the highway at all hours of the day and night. The bar area is nice for a drink after a long day. The breakfast buffet is ample but not very tasty--low brow execution of Scottish favorites like haggis, blood pudding, eggs (very clearly powdered eggs!), beans and potato scones. The one way they over-deliver is the staff. Everyone was incredibly nice and accomodating. I wouldn't rush to stay here again, but it wasn't terrible.

The room was not maintained well and the bed sheets were dirty - not people dirty, but it looked like someone dropped a pen in the wash. Best part though was the shower - good, strong hot water. Too bad the bathroom fan was on its last legs and couldn't take the steam away. If it were only the room, I would actually come back here. It was all tolerable. However, the restaurant service was awful. It was like a scene out of Fawlty Towers. I witnessed the maître d yelling at a customer who had misunderstood the waiter. And when one of our tour members called him on it, another wait staff joined in to tell her off. To say there was any semblance of customer service on the two meals we had here would be a stretch. The faux maze outside the restaurant could only be used as an excuse to get out of the place fast so you didn't have to tolerate the staff attitude. For this reason, we have crossed this off our "go back to" list for sure.
