I've bought a couple vehicles here. We've always had a great experience from the showroom to the service desk.

FIRST, ya GOTTA take these reviews with a grain of salt. Most are just angry about some perceived…read morewrong they've suffered, and little praise for the good. We had a recall on a grounding lug, on the ceramic heater. Any electric heater has some danger simply by the nature of how they work, but a bad ground dramatically adds to that risk. Also, it's theoretically a simple fix. Several weeks before this, we'd gotten advice from a local. (We're new to the area, so we took their advice.) They said dealing with Wheeling Subaru was a nightmare (what I got out of the conversation), so they advised using Budd Baer Subaru, in Washington PA. Along comes this potential fire hazard recall, so we checked reviews on both. We'd not had bad service from Budd Baer, in spite of the online reviews, but it's quite a distance away. Had to go to Wheeling anyway, so we thought we'd try them. Called several times to no avail. Zero response. Now I'm irritated, so I left the voicemail as requested. Still no response. And since we were driving by, I thought I'd make the appointment in person. Maybe remind them what a phone is for. My wife called while we were in route, (I'm sure just to prove I'm wrong) and the service writer heard our navigation over the phone yelling that we were close, so he took us right in. Fixed & on our way in 20 minutes! They're not particularly good on the phone, but they're nice people & VERY accommodating. No car wash, like Baer's, but online reviews claimed it damaged some cars, anyway. So it's not a perk I'd take advantage of. I'm really happy with wheeling Subaru so far. Sticking with them.

Went to wheeling Subaru after looking for a legacy for a long time. Friends spoke highly of this…read moredealer. I don't see why. The salesman I worked with was pleasant and when it came time to move forward I contacted my bank to get all the documents needed. Wheeling Subaru couldn't be bothered to contact the bank always asking me to do the leg work. I have bought several cars and never had to contact my bank for needed documents. They weren't able to get the documents together yesterday after two stops and contacting the bank for them. I call today to find out when to come sign and everyone is off. Salesman. Sales manager. Controller. And the person I spoke with said he knows nothing and I should contact my bank! I had already spoken with the bank and it seems they still needed a few documents... the salesman today would not take the list from me but said he was too busy and maybe could get to it later and for me to call the bank again and have them call him... sorry guys. This is where I bow out. If you don't want to sell a car then I won't buy one... if anyone is looking to sell themselves a car, do all the leg work, and follow up with every detail then I highly recommend wheeling Subaru. If you want a car buying experience where you go in get your car and go this is not the place. Wheeling Subarus website says no pressure sales but it should say no pressure sales, no calls to the bank, no pressure to get the deal done once you decide to buy.

Bought my car here in 2023 and bought the extended warranty. Had a mild suspension issue come up in…read more2026 and called the salesman who sold it to me, Zach. He helped direct my call to call the service center and explained what was going on. There, Cody, was able to get me in the next day and get my vehicle fixed. Whole process was less than 24 hours and they were able to get me back on the road with complete resolution of the issues all covered on warranty. Will continue to buy vehicles here when their employees are so eager to help their clients!

I've gotta give Straub Honda credit. It takes real confidence to look someone directly in the eyes…read moreand offer them HALF of what their car is actually worth. They offered me $4,000 for my vehicle like they found it submerged at the bottom of a lake with three missing tires and a family of possums living in the trunk. Naturally I assumed something catastrophic was wrong with it that I somehow missed. Nope. Another dealer immediately gave me $8,000 without even doing the dramatic "hmmmmm" dealership act where they disappear into the manager's office for 45 minutes to calculate how badly they can insult you. So either Straub Honda's appraisal department is powered entirely by expired gas station sushi, or they genuinely hoped I was dumb enough to celebrate getting robbed in broad daylight. The funniest part was how serious they were. Nobody laughed. No wink. No "gotcha." Just a completely sincere attempt to buy a perfectly good car for the price of a used riding mower. At this point I'm convinced if I traded in a Ferrari there, they'd offer me $11,500 and a complimentary pen. Absolutely incredible experience. 10/10 if your dream is to feel like your car was evaluated by two toddlers and a broken calculator.

Drove an hour and a half to look at a specific vehicle. "Flaws" were clearly left out of…read moredescription and pictures (ding, chips and badly masked rust on exterior and several broken pieces inside). However, being a used vehicle, we overlooked it. The vehicle had ridiculously high miles and therefore was priced about $500 over what it was worth. We offered a fair price and was turned down. Although I wanted to leave, my guy decided we drove too far to not buy. So we did. Dave started out by telling me I could write a check and then went back on that and told me he had to take a debit card. After being red-flagged for a fraudulent charge by my bank (it was a large amount and out-of-state transaction), he said to me "your card declined because there isn't enough money". When I informed him there most certainly was, he called the bank and while on hold confirming it was a legit transaction, he said "if you let me talk to them and they tell me you actually have the funds in there, I'll let you write a check". Seriously?! If I "ACTUALLY" have the funds, you'll "LET ME" write a check? This guy was the most rude and unprofessional jerk I have ever had to deal with. And to top off this experience, the car was on empty and they told me they would have filled it up, but the gas station was closed on Saturday. This place is unscrupulous, dishonest and as shady as they come. Dave is the epitome of a slimy used car salesman. My advice would be to go somewhere else.
