A joke. Terrible. Disorganized. A small local York Region company trying to pretend they are one of the big couriers. For anything outside of their small area they literally put the item in a FedEx envelope or box and tack on their cut. Save yourself the trouble and deal with an actual 'real' courier company directly. Doubly so because if something goes wrong with FedEx you're on your own because office staff (in 2018) Tim and then Shane admitted that they have no direct way to immediately get FedEx's attention (in my case security camera and my phone records show FedEx never buzzed even though I was home and every other courier company uses the buzz system at my place, and FedEx now even admits they didn't buzz). A&B is not a 'partner' with FedEx as they would have you believe, they are a tiny customer and have no ability to manage FedEx as their subcontractor. A&B 'might' possibly OK for very local deliveries but after talking to some of their office staff it's clear: don't trust them with anything important, even locally. Manager is Shane who couldn't care less and actually made a joke about not caring about the poor service. They definitely don't like having their, or their subcontractor's, mistakes pointed out and they do nothing extraordinary to help when there is a mess-up.
In their profile here on Yelp they write about themselves saying:
- they are "committed to being a niche player in the transportation industry" which means, like I said above, they do some local stuff and just use FedEx and charge accordingly,
- "to be a partner with companies for all of their global transportation needs", gobal?? nope, they can't even get other parts of Canada right.
- "We will excel with distinction in profitability, concern for people, service, measurements, and in public relations within a company.", heck no.
- "When achieved, the organization will earn the respect from people and companies by delivering 100% customer satisfaction with every transaction", not in your wildest dreams. read more
