And since I couldn't have that environmental unfriendliness on my conscience, I took the broken jacket to Soon's. She said she wouldnt be able to match the zipper exactly but she had a zipper that was close enough. I said great and a week later when I picked up the jacket I couldnt even tell it wasnt the original zipper. $25 is a much better price than a new coat. Finding a good shoe repair has been challenging so one day I drove by Rose's and saw the sign in the window said shoe repair. I brought the boots back and had her work on them. I'm really impressed! Other than the spot of the suede that got ruined from me walking on it, I literally cannot tell the difference in the heels. I wore them twice with no issues. I also dropped off a pair of shorts I love to wear in summer. I ripped the crotch out somehow. I'm hard on crotches, what can I say? I'm sure she'll sew them nice and sturdy for me.

Took my daughter's prom dress for alterations which included hemming and adding a little tulle with…read more3 iron on rhinestones designs (which I provided) around the bustline to cover some of the cleavage. I asked if a week was sufficient time to have everything completed and she said yes. I also asked how much would it cost and she said she didn't know yet. I did ask twice but she wasn't sure. I dropped the dress off on a Thursday and went back Saturday to drop off the rhinestones decal, she never mentioned an estimate or price for the total alterations. I returned the following Thursday, 2 days before the prom to pick up the dress and was shocked when she told me my bill was $120.00! I told her that was too much and way more than I was expecting to pay. The hem was good but I was not satisfied with the tulle around the bustline as it did not serve its purpose. I take part blame in this. I should have never left the dress without getting an estimate and letting her know what my budget was. I place the other half of the blame on her. Once she realized what it was going to take for her to do the alterations she should have told me when I went back 2 days later or she could have called me to let me know and I would have gladly picked the dress up and went somewhere else. So for this reason I would never use their services again nor would I recommend them.
