The last staff who worked there left the job because she was too scared to work there. We chose the site because it is off the main roads and has a live in manager so someone is always on site for security. When we signed the paperwork, we were told the gate is open from dawn until dusk for tenant access and is locked every day from dusk until dawn. We were also informed that installing an electronic gate allowing 24-hour access to tenants was planned but did not have a confirmed date for install. We were never informed either verbally or in writing that a new manager was hired and living off-site while the apartment was being remodeled, and that the gates would be left unlocked and open 24 hours a day until completion allowing anyone to drive in to vandalize and steal property.

This was the most important thing I asked for as not having power would make the storage completely useless to me. She said they were going to fix it and never did. They have tons of electrical problems at this facility to a point where their gate actually stopped working late at night while I was in there and I actually got trapped for a long time, had to jump the fence, had to have my wife wake up our kids to come get me out of there since the general manager wasn't answering her phone. She finally answered after like 3 hours to just ask "were you able to get out?" What a joke! She didn't apologize or take an ounce of responsibility. Like no big deal... I just got trapped inside your storage facility due to your power issues that they refuse to fix. They sure will ask to raise your monthly rent though. They bumped mine by 50%! Crazy place.
