When I spoke with Ashley, I felt that she was extremely rude and unprofessional throughout the conversation. I explained that my move was relatively small and, based on my experience, could have been completed by two movers in approximately three hours. Instead, I was repeatedly pressured to hire additional movers for an estimated 11 hours, which seemed completely unreasonable for the scope of the job. The most frustrating part was when I requested to cancel. Ashley talked over me, ignored my request, and became increasingly aggressive during the conversation. I was told that because they had my request form, they would determine how the move would proceed, which made me very uncomfortable as a potential customer. Thankfully, I had not provided any credit card information directly to this company. I contacted HireAHelper.com, and they ultimately helped me avoid doing business with Friends Moving and Delivery. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone considering this company proceed with caution. The level of customer service, communication, and pressure tactics I encountered were enough for me to take my business elsewhere.

I am not complaining that we paid for 5 hours total even though the job was done in 3 hours. They showed up at 9:45am and finished around noon. We paid the bill at 12:15pm (email confirmation of invoice paid); so, you can't be saying that I attempted not to pay when I have email confirmation of payment made. Now, at 4pm, you guys called my husband twice, left voicemails and sent him two text messages saying that I did not pay! This is beyond ridiculous!

With the speed of a cheetah, elegance of a swan and heart of a ....hippo? Lion? (Something with a really sincere big heart!) these guys have it all. Positive, fun, extremely hard working and caring. Moved all of my heavy crap up 4 flights of stairs -- they acted like it was nothing. I climbed the stairs once and almost had a heart attack while drenched in my own tears and sweat. Besides their moving prowess they go the extra mile with customer service : I honestly just fell in love with them. They are outstanding individuals, I truly enjoyed having them with me for the morning. In a nutshell: this was an affordable, incredibly smooth and fantastic moving experience! Personally we would never use them again. The guys who packed the truck in Washington State outshines them by far, and for less money. They charged $70/hour for fantastic service, compared to $117/hour for mediocre service. I thought cost of living in Kansas is low, but their labor cost is high.... go figure.

During the cold snap a few weeks ago, a sprinkler line burst causing an absolute mess! After a discussion about the situation we decided it was time to speed up our transfer. Our neighbors across the hall had to be moved immediately due to the damage to their apartment and I found my friends from Door2Door in the hallway moving them. I hired them on the spot. They moved me down four flights of stairs since the elevator wasn't functional and into the building next door in 2 hours! They worked like nothing I've ever seen! I was luck enough to get a break on pricing since I was a return customer as well. Definitely a win-win. High recommend!
