Peach Design responded quickly online and came the next day to give a quote in person. After agreeing to go with their company on Friday, they started the flooring the following Tuesday and finished it the next day (Wednesday). They communicated clearly, were responsive to our questions, and were very professional. The LVT they recommended was commercial grade which was much thicker and sturdier than what we previously had. The quote they gave was comparable to others but the reason we chose them was they noticed that there was a concern about our existing floor not being level which they planned to address during their install. Our new floors look and feel great! We would highly recommend Michael and his team!

Josh and his co-workers were very patient and answered all my questions and took care of my needs. I live in midtown, and they were nicer than any other employees I have ever encountered in the midtown area. Josh personally took time to help me measure and select my purchase. They even have an inside basketball goal that you can shoot hoops while you wait on them to finish your order! They are a great group of guys! I will remember my experience if I ever have flooring needs in the future (or am just looking to shoot hoops!)

After getting 2 quotes from other hardwood installers and not feeling comfortable with either (one…read moretoo high and one with lots of red flags), I found Atlanta Floor Store. Their knowledge and professionalism were apparent from my first meeting with them and their quote was right in the middle of the other two. They demo'd my existing floors (carpet and ceramic tile), replaced the existing subflooring with new plywood subflooring, and installed, stained and finished the hardwoods in my living room, dining room, den, foyer and front hall as well as in the upstairs hallway, all while we were living in the house. It was a challenging job, with substantial differences in floor elevations between rooms, but they expertly leveled them and made the transitions between new floors and old floors smooth so that there was no need for raised transitions at doorways that would create tripping hazards. Josh very patiently answered all my questions about hardwood species, finish options, acclimating the wood before installation, the demo and installation process, and more and clearly explained how they would address all of the issues. He and his team were great at scheduling and communicating, showed up when they said they would, and finished ahead of schedule with no suprises when it came to paying for the work. Josh stayed involved throughout the project to ensure that all my concerns were addressed. He and his team were true professionals and made customer satisfaction their top priority. I am so pleased with my new floors. I highly recommend Atlanta Floor Store!

I hired Yanez Remodeling company for an interior painting project and, unfortunately, the…read moreexperience left much to be desired. While they may excel with smaller homes, it quickly became apparent that they were overwhelmed by the scope of my property. The timeline was extended due to personal reasons, resulting in an additional day added with last minute notice. The quality of work was inconsistent throughout the house. Corners were left as it appeared in some areas unfinished or barley touched, there were noticeable gaps and overspray, and paint ended up on the hardwood floors, stair railings and other areas. I am still getting paint spots up. Moving furniture led to scratched flooring, which was never addressed. Despite a clear conversation about rehanging a large framed picture properly, it was returned crooked. A curtain rod holder was broken, and the drapes were left on the floor. No compensation or discount was offered. The attention to detail simply wasn't there, and it showed in both the execution and the way the space was left after the job was done. I'm disappointed with the outcome and would advise future clients to consider the size and complexity of their project before hiring.

Whether it was a simple one-room refinish, a multi-room relay, leveling and installing over concrete, or lacing in 40+ boards when a wall was eliminated here or there, the work was always done efficiently and with beautiful results. Most recently they did a multi-room finish on a property; started sanding before the ink was dry on the closing papers. One solid day later the floor had been sanded, patched, filled, and had two coats of poly on it. A third coat on the subsequent day and a few days to dry and this floor was ready to be walked on! We have enjoyed it daily ever since. I can't say enough good things about Jerry and his crew. Always responsive, always with good ideas, and very professional and well-mannered. I hired R Contracting services based on the recommendation of a neighbor whom they did renovations for in the past. My project was to build a roof over my patio. When signing the contract, Renee was unwilling to pull a permit for the contract for the project, even though the roof was an addition to the house. I secured a permit under my name and thank God I did. The framing failed inspection due to no rafter straps, posts not being properly bolted and a post being cut differently than the other two without being properly secured. After they corrected those issues, they attempted to use water-damaged molded wood for the ceiling of the roof. When I told them it was unacceptable, their initial response was that they would "clean it" and put mold-resistant primer on the wood. I held firm because my son has Asthma. They eventually replaced the wood on the ceiling. The final straw was when they were finishing up and I had to notify them that a moved downspout was pointed towards a window. A two-week quoted project, ended up taking four. They were more concerned about getting paid than doing quality work or doing the project right the first time. -I would not recommend them to anyone.
