I have used Friesen Electric many times for my residential needs and found both their products and…read moreservices are high quality. Most of all, I appreciate their honesty and integrity. Recently, we had an issue with some lights in our strata. Another electrical company told us that we needed to replace three outdoor lights at a cost of approximately $1,500 each (total $5,000.) This did not sound right to us so we called Friesen Electric who came to investigate. Richard found that they did not need to be replaced at all. He even showed us how we could change the bulbs ourselves. He didn't even charge for the service call! Friesen Electric is a company you can trust.

I highly recommend Reliance Indoor Air Quality. After contacting several heating companies in the…read morearea, we choose them for replacing our old gas furnace. Our reasons for selecting Reliance for the job were based on the good recommendation for Reliance from a local trusted realtor and Reliance's helpfulness in advising us on the choice of the new furnace. Price was not an issue in the choice of furnace since all bids were within just a few dollars of one another; however, it was a factor since Reliance charges substantially (almost 30% less) for annual maintenance than the heating company we had been using. We were very pleased with the workman-like way Leo of Reliance replaced and installed our new furnace. We found him to be very efficient and professional. After installing the new furnace, he thoroughly cleaned up from the process, took the time to show us how to register our new furnace to assure that it will be under warranty, and how to file for the PSE energy rebate.

I TOTALLY lucked out! I was looking for an electrician for a small job (i.e., relocating a 220v…read moreoutlet). If you have ever looked for a contractor, I'm sure you know what it's like (e.g., they may not call you back, may ghost on you, and most likely they overcharge you). Nate from Illuminate Pro Electric was totally different. As I elaborate below, Nate was a game changer. He was responsive; he showed up when he said he would; his rate was more than reasonable. ILLUMINATE PRO ELECTRIC Nate is an experienced licensed electrician (of course, insured and bonded). I highly recommend you to go to his website and read about his business. One thing to keep in mind, as mentioned on the website, he is the owner and the operator (i.e., no employees). So, he may or may not be available (when you need his service). I was lucky. I sent him a message through his website. Nate responded to me the same day, and it just so happened that he was available for the type/size of job I needed help with. COMMUNICATION Very responsive. After the initial message I sent to him, we exchanged a couple of emails and texts back and forth. As it turned out, he was available next day, and he did show up at the time he promised. It worked out great for me, but please have a realistic expectation as he has to do everything for his business. JOB PERFORMED Nate moved the 220v outlet behind the stove for me. He had to cut part of the wall, but he fixed the wall too. I cannot be happier with his work. COST His hourly rate was more than reasonable. He had to go out to get material to fix the wall, but he did not charge me for the time to go get the material. The total amount I paid (hourly labor and parts) was clearly lower than a few other bids I had received from other companies in town. Billing was easy and transparent. He emailed me an invoice with a link for payment. I just used my credit card. No extra fees or anything. His invoice was itemized (i.e., materials used and their costs along with his hourly rate). FINAL WORDS I appreciate Nate's professionalism. He is not only an experienced electrician but has a very high work ethics. He is upfront and transparent. He's professional, but not an uptight way. He's actually very personable. It was clear to me that he was eager to help me. When a homeowner is looking for a contractor, whether an electrician or a plumber, we are stressed out. Nate completely took the stress out of my stressful situation. Nate is flat out the best electrician we have ever used, and personable and honest to boot!…read more After being "ghosted" by one local electrical company and given a "we really dont want your business" outrageous bid by another we were fortunate to contact Nate. He responded very quickly. We told him we wanted an outdoor dawn to dusk security light installed but really didnt know what options we had. Nate explained what could be done , gave us suggestions as to what he thought was best and gave us a very reasonable bid. He explained his work situation to us and was able to complete the job, as well as replacing an indoor fixture, in a very timely manner. In addition to doing an excellent job he was kind enough to tell us he would bill our home warranty policy for a portion of the work he performed. This saved us over 100 dollars. How many contractors would do that for a new customer and a relatively small job? My wife and i recommend Nate in as strongest terms as possible. He made this experience as stress free as possible, something greatly appreciated after moving over 1500 miles back to Washington. We are sure his company is headed to great future success due to his skills, work ethic, and friendly manner. Thanks again!

I highly recommend using their services. I met with Eric personally to discuss my project and received a prompt and thorough estimate. The work was completed on schedule, they attended to every detail with precision and accuracy, plus they stayed on budget with the original estimate. Bensons really went above and beyond my expectations of customer service. Throughout our project I had questions and needed Bensons to coordinate with other contractors and they were always responsive to my needs and worked well with the other contractors to make sure that my whole renovation came together to my exact specifications. I had complete confidence that Eric and his crew would get the job done right, and that was confirmed on my final walkthrough with the City of Bellingham permit inspector. We passed our inspection with flying colors and the inspector even said "Eric is one of the good ones in this town. I never find anything wrong with his work." I will definitely use Benson's if I need any more electrical work in the future!

We got our furnace 12 years ago so I thought that was odd since online it said that most furnaces last 20-30+ years. I called Jon and he agreed that it was strange and came out to have a look.
