When we asked if he could recommend a good leather cleaner for our sofa, he said that he could try cleaning it, admitting this wasn't their core service but was willing to give it a try. We were hesitant given they are a carpet cleaning company. But we had tried other leather cleaning "experts" in the past with mediocre results. I am sad to write this review after this company's other 5 star reviews; however, we had a less…read morethan stellar experience. We own a vacation rental property in Naples. After Hurricane Ian, we rented the house out, and a group of disaster remediation workers, ironically destroyed our home. One of the things they did was really muck up the rugs and upholstery with construction debris, food, drink stains, etc. I don't live full-time in the area of Naples, and I was recommended to reach out to Aloha to see if they could accommodate cleaning our upholstery and rugs on short notice, given that we had other guests checking in in a few days. Lani was very accommodating and made it out to our property when other companies could not. However, after they cleaned, I decided to go to the property for an unrelated issue and before the next guests could check in. While the rugs were cleaner than they had been, they did not look professionally cleaned. In fact, the housekeeper commented that the result of pro cleaning was not that great. Nevertheless, it was good enough at first glance. Then, I dropped something that bounced and landed under the couch. I squatted down eye level with the couch and realized there were still Koolaid and black scuff marks/ stains on the sofa upholstery, and I saw there was a lot of dried up food, etc. and there were food and outdoor debris type of stains on the rug under the couch. Other companies I have hired to clean rugs and upholstery, move the furniture to clean the entire rug, not just the area that is visible in front of the couch. Now that I was seeing things were not as clean as I expected, I decided to lift the couch cushions I had hired Aloha to clean as well. Unfortunately, I found coins, a screw, cracker crumbs, dried up food, and even an empty condom wrapper between the cushions of a couch I paid to have cleaned. Clearly, the couch cushions were not removed for this cleaning or they would have cleaned that up as well. So, it seems they left everything in place and only superficially cleaned, including only one side of the sofa cushions. I had to remove all the sofa covers and rewash them and vacuum the sofa and under the sofa myself. Lani apologized and reduced Aloha's fee by $50... However, I do not plan to use them again. They were accommodating in getting there quickly particularly in the wake of a hurricane when the whole area was focused on clean up, but the finished product was not good. I can't recommend them.
