However, as it turned out my water heater type didn't need an expansion tank, but a pressure relief valve. But more - his proactive attention to details and pragmatic recommendations to solve problems. He detected the smell of gas and brought in his sensor to thoroughly check. It turned out to be a leak at the back of my stove, which is why my sensor did not pick it up previously.
